I can only assume the Besiktas scout reports just said "He was good 18 months ago". Each deal is different. I would imagine that they would be able to pay a good chunk of his wages at the very least. We're so top heavy with players now & with the window winding down, just the savings on wages will be a bonus at this rate.

Would have to assume it's something like the Lemina deal (or similar) for us to bring in 2 players & like LeG said, the incoming could be a loan with an obligation to buy like the Ings deal. We shall see. Fingers-crossed Ross can work some magic.
