I hope Ralph is actually happy. We've not exactly portrayed ambition. Can't imagine there have been too many teams in a relegation battle that have made their squad smaller.

SSN: Southampton have rejected loan proposals from four Premier League clubs for striker Charlie Austin, according to Sky sources. Something will only happen if it’s a permanent transfer.

We're looking down the back of the sofa for some cash whilst there's hope we're going to loan a striker who has a £38m release clause.
