Mitchell's speciality is recruitment though. I'm not sure I trust anyone on the board to recruit somebody really effective. We'll probably end up jumping into bed with a Super Agent which seems to be the way nowadays.

I think, in the near future, he's actually safer. Les's replacement would likely have to sack him & choose a successor. Thing is, there's nobody on the board who know anything about football (other than Wilson) & even that is certainly questionable!

There's no doubt Les was being slowly phased out, when you consider that aside from the Fans Forum (which he'd been avoiding for years) he was barely seen in club media.

The biggest scapegoat to leave since Eric Black. We missed a trick by not going for Dan Ashworth, IMO. Who the hell is going is going to pick the new guy? Ross Wilson is effectively picking his boss?
