There is something to be said for his impact as a sub when we need to score. I was thinking this morning before I read your post that if he starts, MP will probably have him pinned back on half-way.

Yeah, he's out for a bit longer yet. Palace have some tough b*stard fixtures in the next few, but then they end by playing all of the bottom half sides, so I think they will be fine.

I think we all agree it's ludicrously massive, so I wanted to take look at our recent home results in the league to see exactly how we have done. Seems to be a slight theme. Bednarek > Jones Clasie > Reed Carrillo > Gallagher (I'm aware there are arguments to be made against all of those). Jones is out of contract in the summer, so it's either a further sign of our growing incompetence or maybe he's tailed off. I'll assume the former for now.
