  2. Did they show the 'Procrastination Room'? Alleged favourite space for Les & Ross (Especially around January time).
  3. Nice to see him representing himself in the talks. I imagine that's actually easier to do business with.
  4. Will be a miracle if he does. Sure, people will say "He's got good players" but it's going to take a hell of a job to rid us of the malaise around the club. Wish him all the best & like you say, I'm actually looking (cautiously) forward to games again.
  5. Thought he played a similar 4-2-3-1.
  6. When you posted your link, I instantly remembered that Sullivan had boasted about a Director of Football wanting to join. Crikey, it's going to be a summer of fun & games.
  7. I wonder.... West Ham have broken their transfer record in the last two summers, spending £20m on André Ayew and £24m on Arnautovic, but their squad has holes and Sullivan is thinking about hiring a director of football. After all, someone performing that role could have challenged Bilic’s training methods at an early stage. “There’s one very good one in the Premier League,” he says. “I would seriously think about taking him on in due course and I know he would come because he’s approached me. 8. Imagine the hilarity if we go more attacking & then get absolutely rinsed in defence.
  9. In-case anybody glossed over the link that Nick75Sfc posted above it seems like the Telegraph article has been updated again this evening to include the detail that a short-term contract has been offered to Hughes. 10. Not sure he does really. He's not really a tracksuit style coach. (They do share a first name though).
  11. I knew we'd be due one! Awesome work as always, mate.
  12. Hughes was amongst the 'obvious 3' that would have been on my list. Times have changed & we need to try something to give us the bounce. I've no idea why it's taken us this long to replace MP (A very nice man, but just too nice for the job). 8 games is going to be incredibly difficult to change things around, but we had to do something. I'd stick with Hughes if we went down too.

  15. From Sky:
  16. Yes, he's named after my favourite lemon based fizzy drink.
  17. Hoping we might get a "He's gone" mid-week special.
  18. I'd be happy with Bilic too. Ideally, I'd want this next manager to manage us in the championship too if we go down.

  20. Whatever Les did for the last 2 appointments, don't do that! We need a magician to somehow tighten us up at the back and somehow get us scoring.
  21. Too little too late. Our best hope is to go "Full Saints" and appoint Silva, stay up & then Everton poach him in the summer.
  22. He's doing well for the U23's. Good lad.
  23. I'll take Jon Whitney over Pellegrino at this moment.
  24. @IndyFootball: Marco Silva lined up to replace Benfica head coach Rui Vitoria next season ~ Exclusive by @JackPittBrooke http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/marco-silva-benfica-head-coach-rui-vitoria-a8252431.html
