I'm not too worried about player freshness between Palace & HBS. Saturday to Thursday is enough recovery time. Thursday to Sunday (HBS to Boro) is when you'd have to rotate 7 or 8 players again.

Clasie has largely disappointed me, but the one thing about the systems we play: 442 diamond / 433 / 451, is that they all play with 3 central midfielders, so he will always get a chance to play & impress with Claude's rotation policy. He took that chance last night. Well done to him. Hope for more in the future

Don't think he's trained yet. Sims on the bench is good for now - aren't we lucky Good to have options. Davo sounded good tonight. He could play Saturday, but I'd have JWP in for set pieces.

Possibly. Went off as well as Gardos. I wouldn't imagine he would have featured anyway as it's unlikely he would play Monday & Wednesday.

With Palace's record at defending set pieces, I'd rather JWP plays at Selhurst.

I'm still amazed nobody bid in the summer. We've sold a lot of players over the years, but Virgil is somebody I could literally see just about every big club wanting.

The funniest thing about their summer was that for all their "we will spend £100m net" talk, they made a -£5m spend I expect them to vomit money out in January to try and course-correct themselves. (Semedo / Depay / Schneiderlin etc.)
