BENFICA EYE EX-SAINT
Benfica will rival Real Betis for the signature of former Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo, reports A Bola.
Osvaldo, the Italy international, is available on a free transfer after his contract at St Mary’s was terminated by the Saints earlier this month.
The 29-year-old’s agent recently revealed that Betis have been in touch to enquire about signing the Argentina-born hitman, but A Bola says the newly promoted La Liga club will now face competition from Portuguese giants Benfica, who want him to reinforce their attack.
