  1. It'll be interesting to see how much Liverpool spend this summer - They've basically pocketed £40 from the Sterling deal (after subtracting the QPR clause). They've already spent a smidge over £50m already themselves. They'll obviously make some more money with sales of various squad players too.

  3. Enjoyed reading that - Cheers.

  5. To be fair, that's nicer. Ours was as cold as ice!
  6. Liverpool want him, so he's probably our kind've player.
  7. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach #SaintsFC trying to get Clasie deal over the line before heading to the Netherlands for pre-season on Friday. Fee agreed with Feyenoord.
  8. Big fan of Redmond, but figured Norwich getting promoted ruled that out (and doesn't fit with Guan's mention of 'CM') Forgot about Will Hughes - Surprised he's not been snapped up already.
  9. In fairness, he does state a day of an announcement
  10. See Guan's post.
  11. Not really. 4-2-3-1 still (would could be interpreted as 4-3-3). Just think of it as us replacing Morgan & Jack Cork.
  12. I believe (but not 100% sure) that he's owned by Torino now. I think Serie A abolished co-ownership of players. Earlier rumours had them rejecting a £5.7m from us for him.
  13. Benassi would be my guess. He's a very "us" signing.
  14. Welcome back Guan 2.0 - Cheers for the updates.
  15. If that's true, that's a relative bargain.
  16. I agree I think we will see Stephen's this season -- but there's no way we aren't signing a new DC.
  17. The obvious are DC & DMC (as replacements for Morgan & Toby) I'd still sign a physical DMC as well. The question marks are: Whether Gaston can show RK he's worthy of a place & whether Isgrove is good enough - So that's where you could possibly see another Attacker coming in. How are we doing for "home grown" players now?
  18. Couple of times I think. There's a link here from July 2012. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2176194/Jeremain-Lens-Southampton-target.html I'm fairly sure I can remember Koeman admitting we went for him last summer too - (Found the link below) http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/9451348/transfer-news-toby-alderweireld-set-for-southampton-medical
  19. A good listen, cheers.
  20. You'd hope so. I'd sign another midfielder (as well as Clasie) - Not sure the club will or not though. They might feel Reed is ready.
  21. LENS IN SUNDERLAND TALKS Dynamo Kiev midfielder Jeremain Lens has confirmed he is in talks with Sunderland over a prospective move. As reports emerged on Monday that he was due on Wearside for a medical, the 27-year-old Dutchman insisted that was not the case, but revealed discussions are under way. He told http://www.foxsports.nl: "I'm not having a medical examination, but I am in talks with Sunderland. "I have never made a secret of the fact that I like the Premier League. Despite Dynamo playing in the Champions League, now it seems like a great opportunity to make the switch."
  22. Ronny Delia certainly talks Virgil up... http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl/virgil-van-dijk-and-celtic-can-prosper-together-1-3811916
  23. Won't Big Vic only have 1 year left if we sold him next summer? So it would be cut-price like Clyne.
  24. If Sadio kicks-on this season, I think he could potentially be in the £30m bracket.
