  1. Well they've had to move on from Sharp, mate
  2. C'mon!!! What a f*cking signing!

  5. I know it's been said before, but if the fee really is 1.85m, what a bargain!
  6. Cherries have a bit of cash to splash now.
  7. Brilliant.
  8. Solent Uni (i think) Isn't that where Nige said he went with Lee when they assessed his fitness?
  9. Good to get another source (unless he's been watching SSN!) Just hope: 1) We can agree terms 2) Leicester don't 'do a Leicester' and come in last minute
  10. I said something similar on another thread. If you put Sharp in the SPL, he'd score just as many than Hooper IMO. Nigel is very well placed to know how good they both are.
  11. That's what I wondered... Would make sense. (think we're right to be cautious on this one!)
  12. It's personal terms that scuppered it last time... Hope history doesn't repeat itself. I'd be over the moon with him on the bus. (We've also broken the record for the number of active threads on 1 player)
  13. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11734/7465938/Sharp-in-Saints-medical Please be true!
  14. That's because (like it or not) our chairman has morals in regards to signing on fee's and 30k p/week wage demands.
  15. If we couldn't come to terms with Collins, and Upson was our 1st choice, whatever made us think we'd agree terms with Upson?! (Fair play to us if Upson was 1st choice though)
  16. Sharp is quality. Put him in the SPL and he'd score just as many as Hooper IMO. I like Hooper, but I think a 2m Sharp is better value than a 7m Hooper. Nige has worked with both, so he's in a good position to judge who's better.
  17. Training probably I really should learn from every single transfer window and log on here @ midnight to avoid disappointment, but damn it! - I just can't help myself!!!
  18. I know. Good to get at least a little peak at what he can do though. Who knows whether it's true or not. It's a touch disappointing after the Hooper link, but with that said, the level of clubs interested in the lad means he must have something about him. Holloway does have a good eye for a player, too.
  19. I certainly wouldn't read into anything with Forte going out on loan when there's 4 strikers in front of him in the pecking order. Heck, even young Ben Reeves was in-place of him on the bench more often than not.
  20. Someone pass this onto Nigel...
  21. So do I. Whilst I'm genuinely pleased to have Punch back on the bus, something about it screamed to me that it was because we couldn't get our wing target(s) in. I would love to see what players have been asking for. Bet it's north of 30k.
