The pitch at Fratton Park reminds me of a pitch in Wembley, before the first stadium was built.

Great series watched on sky religiously from series one. Looking forward to the new series due to start on sky Revolution.

Has Askins been appointed as their manager yet?

We will all be shocked when Messi signs at 10.59 and sky sports go into overdrive.

Just think how embarrassing that would be if that happened, they would always have to be grateful for us keeping them up. Much frivolity at that lol.

Would you take a point at Wigan if offered now?

No only accept 3 points -
How things have changed since the last period in the premier league, we used to worry on deadine day about players going out not us not signing someone.

I asked the pet Skate at work which will come first a victory or liquidation.

I reckon £50.00 is fair, if they pay the fans £50.00 a game they may actually go Fratton Park.

Hey I know of somebody that can help you with the dyslexia ;-)

Paine, Big Ron, Channon, Keegan, Shilton, Wallace (either of the 2 good ones), Shearer, Golac Armstrong, Williams any of these in their heyday.

And prople wonder why nobody is prepared to help prevent crime if the result is you get prosecuted yourself. If they prosecute any of the people who tried to stop the gunman, its another death nail in society. Would not be suprised to see the gunmans family try to sue the people that stopped him for unlawful death or preventing him going about his business.

Trouble is the league will not give them an extension. :-)

Cannot believe reading on here how some people were questioning Gaston last night IMHO it was his best ever shift in a saints shirt, it was like he was on speed his movement and gameplay was excellent.

Yes I did I just put a well reasoned response to all the bull on it :-)

Cortese has an ego problem, hmm all high ranking business people have an ego problem, because they are good at what they do, they have learnt to make difficult decisions that others shy away from, decisions most of us would not make, and they are prepared to make them without someone holding their hand. That is why we think he is egotistical, but in reality he is just a hard headed businessman.

Why did Roman buy Chelsea, why did the Sheik buy Man City, why did the other Russian bloke buy into Reading, why did Markus Leibherr buy into Southampton, because it had the potential with the right investment to challenge in the best and most followed league in the world. That's why all owners of football clubs that are premier league bound own them pure and simple. As for NC's decision to get rid of Nigel, with whom I had great respect, only the end of the season will tell if it's another inspired decision or the biggest faux pas in the recent history of the club. For all of us complaining, if MP keeps us up and have well avoided the relegation zone, the sacking of NC will soon be caste to the annals of history.

Same was said by coventry fans when Strachan joined and look how much of a disaster that was.

When your boss at work gets replaced do you not work for your new boss we are all professional at our jobs as the players are, they will play to show the new man they are able and want to keep their place.

As much as I am shocked and saddened by our Nigel going and he will always be our Nigel in my eyes. I thought the same when Pardew was let go and we know how much of an improvement that decision was. I hope for all our sakes that Pochettino is the next step up. Good luck Nigel in your future endeavours, I for one will always have a good word for you and I am sure another Premiership or Championship club will be in for you very soon.
