  1. Not quite they were quoted yesterday at 1.6 - 1, where as we were 1.625 - 1
  2. Or £9 if a season ticket holder even better
  3. here here, he ran his socks off leading the line at the Wycombe game, i for one was not suprised to see him flagging late on, as he admits himself, a few months ago he would not even have lasted that long. It is not helped by not having any other decent forwards fit at present.
  4. Hope its double glazed as its getting cold and a few of our players are getting on a bit
  5. IIRC he also got the ball away from the opposition before the 1 - 2 pass when he received the ball back to pass it to Lambert for the goal.
  6. I remember going to leeds on Boxing day in the 80's were not many of us there that day
  7. Had a bloke behind me slagging off Papa because of the offside, and was calling him to be taken off, but I personally thought he was one of if not man of the match tonight, because Wycombe just did not know how to handle him and at time had 2 players on him.
  8. Sat at St Marys think its going to be a cold night
  9. Gotta be league every time, thats the bread and butter that keeps us alive.
  10. Hey do we get a cut of the royalties on the DVD
  11. What makes you think we have the "divine right" to beat Brentford and Stockport. We are in the same league as them, when the season started most of the fans on this site would have been happy with survival this season and pushing on next season. Our side was really carp at the start of the season but we only lost 3 of our first 10 games. as the season progressed we have improved and strengthened, if we progress up the league during December a very important month to pick up points, this will determine I think on how much activity will happen in January. I don't care if we let in five goals a game as long as we score six, because in the end its getting 3 points that are important. We are going to lose some games against teams worse than us, hell Manure even lost this season to Burnley. No team has a "divine right" to win. If we play carp and win I am a lot happier than if we play well and lose. just want to carry on watching what generally is enjoyable exciting games, seeing goals scored from all areas of the pitch, This is the best seasons viewing since 2003, and long may it continue, I for one do not want the team to be known as a bunch of egotistical bigheads who think they have a "divine right" to win, because they will play that bit harder just to trip us up, as happened earlier in the season.
  12. no no no non neit nein oh and no !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Come on 7 minutes + stoppage to get 2 goals and 10 points in the prediction league.
  14. I for one would be happy with a 3 -1 at every game, sod the clean sheet as long as you get more goals than the other team. simples
  15. Well there is the one on the 5-1 pediction
  16. Come on I've got 5-1 in the prediction league
  17. I would love to be in January saying "We cant drop Bart, he is doing a great job between the posts". This would mean that the team was winning and Bart was having a great time between the Posts. Whatever is good for Bart can only be good for Southampton!!!!
  18. It must be Maradonna and all the Argentine team ready to sign in January
  19. He is already there his name is Avram Grant, due to get a work visa for this country in 2 - 3 days time. Well what a suprise there
  20. Sorry but the weather conditions were appalling yesterday, and that with a wet slippery ball probably had a lot to do with KD not holding on to the ball.
  21. Typical we had a chance to get off bottom of the league & we fooked it up at first attempt, now we have a chance to get out of the relegation zone and at our first attempt we fooked it up. Hopefully a good rollicking from Pards & extra training will sort it out.
  22. Gutted, I am feeling like cr@p and can not go to the game today. Will have to stay home and watch it on line. 4-0 victory toady with 2 from Lambert, 1 from Conolly and 1 other.
  23. Hmm strange that, its OK for us season ticket holders to have to put up with reduced price tickets, but not the people that pay as they go, I'll quote all the bull poo i listened to last season, would it no be great to fill the ground, lowering the prices will encourage more to come, even though you have paid more just be glad the ground will be full
  24. What you mean the people that have given the club money through thick and thin shouldn't be rewarded, go figure
