  1. Hojberg is not a younger version of Morgan and certainly not a tidy possession player. Sadly Morgan seems to be a shadow of the player he once was having said that I'd still rather have him than Hojberg in the team....
  2. Liverpool owner John Henry demands the Big Six get their fair share of overseas TV money http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5804319/Liverpool-owner-John-Henry-demands-Big-Six-fair-share-overseas-TV-money.html I guess he needs more funds to shop on the south coast....
  3. You do know every clubs wage bill is different right? you also know, lets take Bournemouth for example has a wage bill about one third of saints yet received more TV money this season, I'll let you do the math...
  4. People seem to ignore the wage bill when ever they mention the TV cash.
  5. TBF I think we would have all believed the Fonte stuff if the info had come from somewhere reliable like Kenya...
  6. do what? I'm still waiting for him to manage two good games in a row a for saints..
  7. well it would certainly be a chance for him to prove he can translate his style to superstar players not sure the likes of Ronaldo will fancy doing double training sessions. I have a sneaky feeling that poch knows he is on a good thing at Spurs though biggish team, decent squad filled with players that buy into his philosophy and no real pressure to win anything.
  8. So was Koeman. It doesn't really matter though despite their ridiculous spending the last couple of years Everton are as far of the top six as everyone else. The PL is six teams and 14 relegation candidates now meaning they won't improve significantly over where they ended up this season.
  9. Didn't you tip Everton to do well last season....
  10. I'm pretty sure most people said 17th and a cup win. Would I like a better league season and no cup win or a worse league season and errr no cup win seems like a pointless type of question... Having said that the end of this season was probably the most exciting (admittedly in a masochistic type of way) we've had since we got back into the PL. Getting to the last few games, were we needed a result in every game, got the old heart going in a way that finishing 7th or 8th never will.
  11. Interest in J-rod from PL clubs http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11389670/burnley-and-bournemouth-interested-in-west-brom-striker-jay-rodriguez Burnley and Bournemouth are interested in signing West Brom striker Jay Rodriguez, Sky Sports News understands. West Ham and Crystal Palace are also keen on the striker, Sky Sports News understands, and are monitoring developments following West Brom's relegation from the Premier League. It is believed West Brom will not sell Rodriguez on the cheap, with the 28-year-old scoring 11 times last season in all competitions, for a team that managed only 31 goals in the Premier League. Rodriguez, who was born in Burnley and started his career with the Clarets, still has three years left on his West Brom contract, after joining from Southampton for £12m last summer. It is thought any bid for the player would have to be worth more than £20m for West Brom to consider selling. Rodriguez has one cap for England, making his only appearance in 2013 when starting a friendly against Chile at Wembley. I love how after paying £12million from a year ago West Brom think his stock has risen enough for them to add another £8million to his value
  12. My nippers first game was Charlton at home the season we got relegated from the championship he saw us lose but he was hooked he is red and white through and through now
  13. New fans are hereditary as long as saints fans keep knocking out kids there will be a next generation..
  14. I'd be pretty shocked if any of the big teams wanted Cedric based on this seasons performances....though Wigan might fancy him.
  15. So 9th is now acceptable? Where as two seasons ago 8th was considered a poor season that saw the manager fired.
  16. Still think city are the better side though. I reckon city are going to dominate the league for the next few years with Pep.
  17. I find myself massively unbothered if I'm honest. Try as I might I just can't get interested in woman's football.
  18. I doubt they could afford the transfer fee or the wages so its a moot point.
  19. distinct lack of scouse accents among that lot still they are going to win everything next season
  20. I quite like Joe Allen busy little player but none of the top six are coming in for him. I imagine Stoke will need to reduce the wage bill post relegation so any decent offer for players would be considered.
  21. Learnt his lesson from the last two keep quiet and then you can blame it on Ralph when it goes tits up..
  22. ****ing club are ****ing it up again look at how all the other clubs are stealing a march on us in the transfer window meanwhile while emperor Les fiddles while Rome burns... ...wait what? ...oh it's done no fuss no drama...erm OK..
  23. You don't think that tells you something about how 4 different managers over the last few season view the two players then..
