That's a myth there were several good balls in the first half he didn't even bother to move for and several crosses he just stood like a statue waiting rather than attacking the ball. I think there was one occasion, in the second half were he actually scared the UTD defence and I thought he had won a peno the ref decided otherwise. Even when he does beat the 0ppostion defenders to the ball his first touch lets him down 9/10 anyway.

Thought he got polite if rather muted welcome when introduced today.

Long was **** poor for most of the game running around a bit doesn't make up for he's total lack of ability to trap a ball, pass or shoot did he even have an attempt on goal? Looks like another good signing I Thought he played really well again today, Lukuka didn't get much change out of him today.

Lemina is the missing piece of the midfield puzzle that we sorely lacked last season an excellent player, best signing in ages, PEH and JWP take note that is what a CM is supposed to look like. Great tackling, decent turn of pace, good with the ball at his feet decent range of passing. I want to see Lemina, Romeu and Davis in central midfield for the rest of the season please.

We offer about as much threat going forward as a old man with penile dysfunction in a whore house. The difference utd on the counter ( three or four players busting a gut at speed to get into our box) and our counters ( one isolated player running to the halfway line, watched by his static team mates, before giving up and passing backwards) is pretty remarkable.

Austin scored 9 last season which is more than any other player managed. Austin has plenty of faults as a player but despite half season out still managed to find the net more than anyone else. Austin isn't a top player either so what does that say about the rest of our front line?

Regardless of his faults he does actual score goals he was still top scorer last season despite being out for half a season. Long might be pacey and super fit but couldn't score in a brothel and Gabbi (who would still be my preferred option) seems to have trouble being on the same wave length as his team mates. None of our strikers (hell the whole forward line) are pulling up any trees recently so you can pretty much come up with an argument to start any on them until one of them actually gets a run of form going to make themselves un-droppable.
