I really couldn't care less about his abilities in press conferences I struggle to think of any managers who entertain me in press conference. Murhino once maybe but even he has become boring now.

Then again last year you said something similar and most likely the season before that to. We have a whole load of fans who predict disaster summer after summer and, no doubt, with the way football works you will all be right sooner or latter and then you can bask in the glory of your foresight/hindsight.

Apart from throwing a lot of cash at Koeman's wages Everton haven't really shown they have any more cash than previous years. A guy from villa and a cheap transfer from Fulham hardly point to mega bucks being available. Lukaku won't be sold while they are holding out for £75 million. Stones may go but the longer that takes the less likely we are to sell (and despite what people think we have shown a willingness to say no when it isn't in our interests like we did with Morgan, Mane and Victor in previous summers).

I can't see that. Any club in the CL put in a serious offer and we are in trouble but I doubt Everton are a big enough draw or that we would sell to them.

I get that but we still scored toothless would be us not scoring in pre-season. We were also in pre-season getting fitness, getting used to a new system and missing first teamers and scored 10 which should be encouraging not a cause for major doom.

Its only pre season but I don't get this toothless criticism when we've scored 10 goals in five games and scored in every pre-season game hardly seems toothless.

Well I don't want him to go but we need to be looking to replace him soon anyway. People keep saying Fonte is irreplaceable and such like but he really only has a couple of good seasons left so we are going to have to get used to not having him around anyway soon enough.

I think we played several formations last season one of Koeman's strength was that he was happy to change the game plan to get a result.

I think we all knew that hence the short contract. Every manager likes to have a player or two he knows. Koeman did it with Pelle (among others), Poch did it with Osvaldo and Puel is doing it with Pied no biggie really (as long as he is not a nutter like Osvaldo).
