I really can't believe seven straight years of improvement doesn't buy the club (and Les) a bit of trust that they might have some idea of what they are doing. It could all go tits up (the law of averages means we are unlikely to continually improve our league position for a start) but at the very least we should give the players, club and new manager a bit of time (letting the players kick a football in a few games might be an idea) before writing them off doesn't the clubs track record to date entitle them to that?

Why does everyone think That Austin is some sort of sick note? He played plenty of games before he came here (46, 40, 37 and 36 games in the four seasons before last) and was fit to play at the end of last season. If he gets anywhere near the form he found in a ****e QPR team (18 goals in 36 games) he will be a big upgrade on Pelle.

Yeah you missed his worst game then. Lukaku was having one of those days when he actually looks worth 65 million and he battered Cedric. Having said that I think Cedric has shown a lot of the attributes needed in a good RB so this season it will be interesting to se if he kicks on under a different manager.

Cedric has all the attributes to be a very good RB it will be interesting to see if Puel can get more out of him than Koeman.

I think the general vibe is he doesn't want to leave but he wants a new contract and the club seem reluctant.

Well I'd certainly take the welsh Pirlo over the English Paul Telfer that is JWP.

I think he is a decent player quite similar to Steven Davis but five years younger I wouldn't be upset if we signed him at all. Steven Davis hasn't got to many more years in him.

I guess there comes a point were the bigger clubs don't/can't sign anyone else..to leave us in with a chance.
