In place of who though? All our midfield (JWP no quite there IMO) have been superb so far this season.....glad I'm not the manager must be a nightmare -
Bugger.......... was the walk on the beach to strenuous? Still thought Yoshida had done a decent job in the first few games so no panic from me.

head to head Pelle vs Bony http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/09/19/le-head-to-head-pelle-vs-bony-who-will-make-the-difference-on-sa/?

I'm pleased was brought up thinking of myself as British first and English second would have been gutted if the union had broken up.

Spurs managed a goalless draw in the competition Mopo isn't interested in, Mopo working his magic 63% possession for spurs but only half the number of efforts on goal of Partizan Belgrade.........

It is weird I can't understand why the club wouldn't want to offer him a new contract but hey after the summer, and the way the club has come out the other side, I'm just going to trust that the club and Koeman know what they're doing ............

No I work in Winchester seem to have quite a few 40 somethings all born south of the Watford gap who are Liverpool fans.

Lallana replaced by Borini.......
-
Love this one Lallana doesn't even look related to a footballer at the moment. I hope it's him just getting back to fitness.
-
One bottle downed then?
-
Lallana Lovern and Lambert all in the Liverpool squad for tonight (Lambert as a sub) Chambers in the Arsenal team (as a sub) for tonight to Tonight is part of the reason we will struggle to hold on to good players we can't offer what all four of these ex-players are getting tonight

Swansea fans take on Saturday. Seem pretty confident of getting at least a draw which is hardly a surprise given their great start. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/forum/124922/southampton/#34 Think this guy might be a little over confident though. Clearly Gary Monk is a better manager than RK:? Why the heck would you say that? In what way would a draw at home be a good result? Do they have a better manager or forward line? (No.) Is their team more settled than ours? (No.) Are they a better team than us? (No.) 3-0 to us.

Starting..........on the bench for hull tonight. Hopefully he'll get some match time. team news from the BBC Abel Hernandez and Mohamed Diame making their debuts for Hull City. Fellow new signings Hatem Ben Arfa and Gaston Ramirez are on the bench.

ermmm...this is different to every other season in the PL how? It's the same for all sides outside the top six. Pick up points against the average sides and if your lucky pick up a result or two against the big boys.

No doubt and it's happened here at Saints but since the new era I think every manger we have had has clearly had input into some of our signings Jonno quick, Billy Sharp and Osvaldo come to mind. This latest saints team is full of players that Koeman has had some input on. Shearer seemed to be suggesting Pardew has no say what so ever at Newcastle If that's the case Pardew being an old school manager might as well be given the heave ho and be replaced by the modern style coach.

Pelle has made it in to Garth crooks team of the week on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29200736

I liked that bit. I think a lot of people (saints fans and pundits a like) are eating some humble pie right now we might not do as well as last season but relegation certs we are not.
