Toby Alderweireld Signs on Season Loan - Official
doddisalegend replied to Aziz Yebda's topic in The Saints
Well lots hope it stays that way for a couple more Matches think Pelle, Long and Tadic could have some fun against that rubbish -
I see Shearer on MOTD saying that Pardew has no say on player buying or selling at Newcastle seems like Ashley is another one of those owners who fancies himself as a football man might as well sack Pardew and bring in Dave Hockaday
-
Hasn't he got a contract that goes until 2020? If he does get the sack must be in line for a good wedge in pay off. Don't think Ashley has the imagination to hire anyone outside of the failed PL mangers list so sacking Pardew might not actually improve things much at Newcastle.

Funny what difference a couple of games makes at the westbrom game he was getting dogs abuse from same sections of the SMS crowd. The same people at SMS loving him today:lol:.

Did we not get a "to buy" option on toby at the end of the loan or was that only Ryan? -

Thought he was absolute quality, early days, but looked just as good as Lovern (perhaps even better) nothing flash but did the simple stuff well and never looked in trouble all afternoon. Clearly he will have harder tests then Newcastle but the signs are good I reckon. -
They might have travelled miles but to stand there singing "we're sh it and we know we are" or "Pardew out" during the game is hardly going to inspire the players. The Newcastle players couldn't get down the tunnel fast enough one toon player was trying to get them to go over to the away fans but the toon players didn't want to go any where near them.
-
The saints physio was doing his nut on the side lines but the ref wouldn't let him on the pitch when Long was clobbered about 10 minutes later he final got the game stopped so they could look at Long but must have figured he was ok because he finished the half.

Judging from today Newcastle..............

Villa win:D I must admit I had Villa down as relegation fodder this season along with Swansea clearly I know **** all:?

In fairness there was no guarantee last seasons team would have got 8th again or the same points total this season as last.
-
LOL I visited Shrewsbury at Easter with the wife and kids lovely place wouldn't have believed it was a hotspot of football violence. I wonder if they like to unwind in the quarry park, by Percy Throwers house, or take a guided boat trip from Welsh bridge to English bridge after a ruck....
-
I like this guy
-
If he isn't playing for us I'd much rather he was playing for one of those sides than a PL side.
-
Could be worse we could be Wales currently struggling to overcome the mighty Andorra.....
-
In fairness he wasn't left with much choice as the club put their foot down. I'm pretty sure this will be his last season at saints so I hope he has a great season with us and then leaves with the clubs best wishes, just like Lambert, I think people should just enjoy watching him play in a saints shirt this season.
-
If he recovers from his injury properly and re-finds the form he had pre injury which is not a given
-
Being saying the same for a while if Man city want to pays us for a crocked player let him have them and the club moves on letting him leave on a free wouldn't be in the clubs interest at all.
-
Sounds about right from what little I've seen.
-
Saw him last season in the FA youth cup against pompey best player on the pitch that night IMO.
-
Got the assist in the England under 21s 0-1 win tonight But Kane, a 64th minute substitute, nodded in James Ward-Prowse's inch-perfect cross to seal victory. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29047087
