  1. I really can't see Gaston thinking his future is at Hull
  2. "QPR and Liverpool are 'in discussions' over possible transfer for Fabio Borini." That will get Poyet throwing his toys out the Pram.
  3. Seriously how would we feel if the club spent 14 million on an injured player, who isn't guarnteed to ever re-capture his pre-injury form and might not be match fit for months?
  4. ???????
  5. Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez on a season-long loan with the option to buy. Weren't people on here touting him as an option for us?
  6. Really? What have I missed.
  7. thought he had been left out after a s hit performance at Millwall
  8. As long as there is something in the stocking at the end......otherwise it's a **** christmas
  9. A fully fit J-rod would be worth a lot more but he won't play for a while yet and may never come back from injury as good as he was before his injury, as well as being more prone to injury from now on. Also as J-rod won't sign a new contract his value is only going to go down letting him leave on a free isn't much good to the club 14 million for a crooked player that is going to become less valuable with every passing month might not be a bad deal IMO
  10. Always thought guy was a prize t wat
  11. TBH I'd be inclined to take it. Who knows if J-rod will come back the same player after his injury, he might never recover back to last seasons player, plus the fact he won't sign a new contract means his value will drop as his contract runs down cash in move on. One thing I always wonder about swap deals is if they actually ask the player if he wants to be swapped I thought Townsend has already said he wants to stay at spurs so if he refuses to be swapped what are spurs going to do.
  12. OK we've been linked with so many players I'm losing track.............but isn't this the guy RK said was "unrealistic" or was that someone else?
  13. Taking it well on The fighting cocks forum:lol: Last week Poch was lauded as the second coming of Bill Nic, having master-minded massive victories such as - last minute lucky win over a bottom 8 side - win over a Championship side - wins over some Cypriot pig farmers In our first test of reasonable substance we were completely and utterly found out and embarrassed - no gut, no fight, no spark, no system - sound familiar? Not to mention leaving Pauilnho outside the squad. Apart from Lamela and Dyer players looks disinterested - I thought AVB was the problem? With few days left if this transfer season, I genuinely hope we can address some of the glaring issues in a team which is substantially short on quality in number of areas, namely LW, Striker, and a Left Back I really want Poch to succeed but he needs the right tools along with a clear direction. We need to spend
  14. Meh it will no doubt be a total damp squib as far as we are concerned*. First lets just keep hold of what we've got..... * now if we do sign anyone it will be above my expectations;)
  15. Quick, a bit clumsy, looks decent against Championship level players ....Might have been cheaper to just sign Michail Antonio.
  16. 61% possession to spurs but lost to a big team.............. sounds about right for a Poch team
  17. I would I assume, like most players, regular game time will see him improve. Already I think we are see the benefits of him playing regularly along side Jose.
  18. This will be his last season for us enjoy while it lasts people at least the club has time to start looking for a replacement or for Reed to make the step up.
  19. Looks like a poor mans Steve De-ridder...goes down easily though maybe he could get lots of free kicks for JWP.
  20. Even in pre-season I thought he looked good couldn't believe how upset some posters got about his signing. Don't feel like we are missing Luke Shaw much at the moment.
  21. I'm pretty sure Man U will finish higher up the table than us. Koeman looks like he will be a good fit for us and we will do OK with him at the helm but lets face it once Van Gaal gets his sh it together Man U will be well above us.
  22. LOL you've been on here since 2007 and you've only just worked that out:D
