Taken from the article Southampton is another club whose charter has impressed the FSF in past seasons but the Saints seem to have forgotten to upload it to their website for 2012-13 – hopefully this acts as a reminder. But the FSF said that it’s not just visibility which matters when it comes to club charters as bad practice can afflict highly accessible charters too. Of course it might be there but finding it on the new O/S might prove tricky:?

I'll be in the picture somewhere...still on the plus side I didn't have to queue for a coffee or a **** and got out of SMS in record time I even had plenty of leg room:)
-
Well I went becuase it was cheaper to take me and the boy than go to a PL game I thought there would be a few dads a similair situation....but prehaps not. Still if we get to the final I'll take my ticket from last night and wave it at everyone:lol:

Yes but our left back speicalist is a bleedin liability and we don't really have much in the way of replacements....so what are we going to do?
-
Problem is 25K or not this is a guy who wasn't even as good as Dan Harding and makes Fox look good would rather we gave Shaw a chance.
-
wow good digging....Personally I just assumed that as Dickson wasn't even good enough to displace Harding he certainaly wasn't going to much use above League 1 level. Still if it's to save 25K I guess I can understand it ....should keep the executive wash room at the club in nice toilet rolls and perfumed soap for a while:) Just wonder why he hasn't moved on I'm sure some league 2 side would have him.......guess his wages are to high?
-
In fairness on current form in the league I imagine they would....wouldn't we be the same if the roles were reversed. They gave Swansea a good pasting last weekend and have started the season on fire. I'd settle for a draw HTBH.

bit unfair on Danny Butterfield:)

Watched MOTD last saturday and thought sh it Everton are going to rip us apart ..... However this BBC report about the cup game last night gives me a bit of hope http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19632366 Ok Everton made 6 changes last night but the likes of Fellaini and Anichebe were still in the team. Taken from the BBC article And while the Scot may have questioned the commitment of his players, he could not dispute the result on a night when Leeds tackled, battled, denied space and dominated territory to reach the fourth round of the competition for only the second time in the past decade. Tactically smart, Leeds' work-rate was also admirable, their players often doubling up on Everton's main threats like Marouane Fellaini, while Victor Anichibe found he had unwelcome, unstinting company throughout. El Hadji Diouf was tremendous throughout, frustrating and counfounding Everton's defence with a selfless display. Do we have a team to play like that?

listened to the interview on solent on the way home ....I think Crosby should do all the interviews

I thought SDR had his best game in a saints shirt most of our most dangerous play went through him...having said that his final product is still shocking can't see him getting ant time in the PL games. Never felt like saints got out of second gear in fairness it never felt like they needed to Wednesday were dire certainaly didn't look even a decent championship side. Cork MOM for me looked good controled the midfield shame he went off injuried at the end J-rod scored a great first goal and a poor peno ...if he is Lamberts replacement he has got a hell of a lot of work to do to come up to Rickies level IMO Gazza I'm not sure about fumbled a couple of saves, got tangaled up with his own defence a couple of times (could be down to having a Spanish speaking keeper and a Japanese defender I suppose)and his kicking wasn't as good as saturday but he made a couple of good saves. All our new youth players seem to be blonde, spiky haired midgets

Last time I was at SMS and it was as empty as tonight was Cheltenham in the FA cup a couple of seasons back....still for 20 quid for me and the nipper it was an entertaining little game.

How many will Lambert score this season................
doddisalegend replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
Not hard to see why we spent so much time fighting off relegation only one 20+ goal scorer in 10 years...... -
He'd be a great signing for most championship clubs always thought he was a good player (better than Richardson for me) but not in the same class as Clyne. Lets face it at 32 you want to be playing while you can not failing to even get on the bench.
-
Errrrrr yeah this ^^^ one thing to tweet " I think you got somethings wrong mr Referee" quite another to Tweet (best scouse accent)" you fecking **** hope you die of cancer" or some such......
-
I'd go for Wigan Villa Norwich Reading QPR Possibly Swansea if they carry on like the last couple of games I'd also love to say Liverpool but I'm sure they 'll move up the table soon enough.
-
Watching MOTD the other night I'm ashamed to say I ddon't think there is any probably about it...Everton look really good at the moment:(
-
Doubt they'll get it though come Christmas if they look like relegation fodder their chairmen will panic......
-
J-rod is a must give Lambert a rest and give J-rod a bit of confidence by netting a couple of goals. No reason not start Mayuka give him 90 miniutes to show what he can do. I thought Cork was ready to come back if he is good game to help him get up to speed Guly in as well I would imagine Probably have Lallana and Lambert on the bench just in case we look like fuking it up Don't know about Boruc only been here what 48 hours? has even played much recently? don't think Nigel will rush him straight into the team.
-
Me to. It was going to be my first game of the season but some villa tickets fell into my hands at the last moment so now it will be my second.....hopefully a decent cup tie.
-
TBH I think we played some better teams in the NPC last season Blackpool and Hull were much better last season than Villa were on saturday. Hard to judge though Villa fans seemed to think they played like Barca against Swansea and Newcastle....so maybe they just had an off day.
-
Lambert for me worked his socks off great 1st goal even some cool defending at corners. He is so much more than just a big lump goal machine. In fairness second half the whole team were pretty amazing could give MoTM to several players really.
-
Possibly but we don't tend to throw our new signings straight in Nigel seems to like to intergrate them into the team over a couple of weeks unless injuries force him to do otherwise. So I'm guessing Boruc won't go straight into the side and Gazza will be prefered to kelvin over the next couple of weeks ....just a guess though
-
Keepers benefit from game time. Might help to sharpen him up a bit apart from saturday he has only played one game this season. I doubt he is knackered apart from pulling the ball out of the net once he didn't have much to do on saturday. Boruc has only been here 2 miniutes might be to early to throw him in and Kelvin could do a job but it might be better to get Gazza match sharp.
