Really ....didn't think it was alll that TBH and yes I sit in the Chapel which was much (much) better than usual but the Northam seemed very quiet

Obviously not as it was more like 30 people than a couple......I wonder if people would be so dismissive if the pompey fans had done it?

I thought the Northam was quiet today sat in the chapel (though the Chapel was much louder than normal) ....Seems that people were more interested in abusing the skates than singing in support of the players....

The lino on my left (sitting in the chapel) was shocking seemed to give everything (to both teams) the wrong way. I felt the ref let some pretty bad pompey tackles go well punishing saints players for the same type of tackle....but I was wearing my red and white striped shades. Lambert seemed to get held and pushed a lot to but the happens every game and he really gets a foul for it.

Agree we might as well have played with when 10 men when SDR came on. He is no use to us the way we play at the moment.

What got me was the lack of OWTS being sung. The 5-10mins before the game kicked off it was really good 5mins into the game and it tailed off ........I was expecting more but I think the crowd at SMS has been below par for a while we seem nervous and under pressure to get results which seems to reduce the atmosphere to groans and sighs if were not winning after 10 miniutes.

This^^^ plenty of us managed to celebrate without being nobs.............Billy Sharp looked well impressed by the **** trying to hug him...

Sorry but putting De-Ridder on the pitch is pretty pointless if the team won't pass to him. Countless times he had acres of space to work in and he is probably the quickest saints player on the pitch yet saints players would rather pass it to someone in the centre of the pitch surrounded be blue shirts. It's the same every time SDR plays it's like the rest of the team have something against him. He could be a useful option if the rest of the team would use him.

Lets hope Guly isn't one of them........

God no If SDR has proved one thing this season it's that if he starts a game he does very little. SDR is at his most effective coming on with 20 mins to go were he can run at tired defenders.

I've not seen much to suggest the Sharp is massivly better than Barnard....at least Barney works hard off the ball and defends from the front, Sharp looks to knackered after five minutes to close anyone down.

Lee Barnard has hardly had numerous sub apperances. When he came on against Donny he was full of running and effort, which is what his game is all about, but it's harsh to expect him to be banging in the goals when he has had a handful of sub apperances (usual the last 10 miniutes of a game) even if he starts every game until the end of the season he is going to be match rusty. I still think he is capable of banging in a couple if he gets to play regularly in the last few games.

Yeah lets do a QPR it's worked so well for them much better than Norwich and Swansea who didn't go out and replace most of their teams.....

So lets play Lee Barnard.....

you mean other than the blackpool defenders getting so close they looked like they were trying to introduce guly to mr purple headed trouser snake. The same happens to Lambert all the time and he doesn't jump either.....doesn't get any grief over it though

No he didn't win many (any) headers but Guly ant' Lambert and yesterday we tried to play him as a targrt many which he isn't.

Ahhhh the stock bull**** reply which people trot out after every game .....but which anyone who was even half watching knows is complete crap. Guly was tracking back to help out defense and dropping deep in an effort to get the ball from a midfield that only wanted to pass backwards.

Why? he at least put in some effort yesterday which is more than you can say for most of the team and he was involved in our best chance yesterday.....at the moment I'd rather have Guly on the pitch than Sharp.

Bloody crap ....we were due a loss and losing, while no fun, is at least acceptable if the players are trying but today the looked like they couldn't care less. keeping possession of the ball at the back is fine if your 3-0 up but when three goals down it isn't going to do much. I think at one point the telly said we had almost 70% possession and one shot on target ...WTF Not the end of the world if this is just a one off (we're still top of the league)...but still really dissapointing it would be nice for everyone else to see the great football we play down SMS rather than that crap...

I rather enjoyed the BCC taters talking about how our players would love to be in the PL as they played anything like players desperate to get to the PL We're still in the driving seat for promotion....but that doesn't really disguise, or make up for, what was a really poor performance today from players who should of been busting a gut to get a result....Win against pompey and this result will be quickly forgotten.

God help us if we get to the PL then.....

Honestly replacing our players with doubles today so that our real players could get extra rest before the really big game next week was genuis. 15 minutes in I thought he was going get rumbled when it became clear that the doubles couldn't play footbal like our real players....but I think he got away with it. Well done Nige I expect to see our players tear pompey apart next week after their extra rest...

I don't know why the team I watch playing at SMS always look good yet and soon as I sit down to watch them in my front room they look awful..........

Yes it would be nice to have real choice between the parties rather than them all crowding the middle ground scrambling to be popular. New Labour made the labour party scared of it's own roots and beliefs just as Thatcherism made the conservitives scared off theirs.

Really? My take on Galloway is that he is an attention seeking media whore (as evidenced by his taking part in Big Brother) his independent thinking is no more than a way to get noticed. Towing the party line would just make him another faceless MP where as being a maverick and getting chucked out just gives him more attention as does this whole political party of one crap. He obvousily nows how to work voters but really 650 numpties like him in parilment really wouldn't do the country much good.
