  1. It does state. And we’re talking regulars here, so all these players have played in at least three-quarters of their club’s Premier League games. We have used WhoScored’s ratings as a guide… Long doesn't fit the criteria on that basis.
  2. Out of interest anyone know what formation Scotland played and what position they played Armstrong in?
  3. Two saints ( and one saints old boy) players in it maybe not ones you'd first think of either https://www.football365.com/news/the-worst-premier-league-xi-of-the-season-so-far-2
  4. **** me what a bunch of old ****s most of them will be dead by the time we leave the EU..
  5. So there is no one worth voting for in the British political system and you'd have to be a ****wit to vote for any of the current lot....
  6. That's a good article sums up a lot of leave voters I know who seem to be pinning for a time and place that only exists in their imagination rather than a reality of Britain in the modern world. (Though I will take issue with describing Waterloo as a Prussian victory as it shows a lack of understanding of how the 100 days campaign was fought.)
  7. Yes very much the club modus operandi these days put a load of names and guff through Wilson and then do none of it. Just a way of trying to keep the fan base sweet. Mind you I always assumed I was Les who feed Wilson this stuff I guess it wasn't...or at least isn't now.
  8. Nice summary of Danny's thoughts on the matter ?
  9. Danny Dyer decides to have a say ? https://news.sky.com/story/danny-dyer-defends-theresa-may-with-furious-attack-on-boris-johnson-and-nigel-farage-11557431
  10. I seem to remember the referendum paper said "leave the EU" it never at any time specified what leave means. People where happy enough to vote for something without knowing what they were actually getting. I can't see how they can now complain they are not getting what they imagined they where getting when there was no actual plan of what leave looked like at the time. All this could have been avoid if the deal was put in place first and then we where asked to vote on it that's how it should of happened and why I am now quite happy to have a second referendum so we can now vote with actual facts in front of us rather than both sides fantasies and lies we had in the first vote.
  11. doh yep shouldn't post before coffee....
  12. Well its a distinct possibility when the vast "Majority" was a whole 3.9%. Given that 48.1% where all voting for the same thing with no ambiguity and other 52.9% where voting for some sort of Brexit, but couldn't agree, or didn't know what that actually looked like the whole referendum was flawed in the first place. The referendum should have been held once the government had a secured a draft leave proposal so that everyone voting knew exactly what staying and leaving looked like and we could vote on the reality of the situation rather than the fantasies, mis-information and lies both sides put out in the original referendum.
  13. I'd take their manager over the last two we've had....
  14. I like this opinion peace quite long but spot on for me it certainly could describe a few posters on this thread.... https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/nov/16/brexit-paranoid-fantasy-fintan-otoole
  15. Lemina injured? http://sportwitness.co.uk/blow-southampton-key-player-picks-injury-international-duty/
  16. how would people rate Leicester's recent player recruitment?
  17. Are we leaving? Yes we are so it does honour the deal of the referendum which was stay or leave nothing else. The referendum never specified what leaving would look like as a result it was flawed from the beginning. The way this should have been done is the deal should have been worked out first. Then once we all knew what we where getting the public should have voted on it.
  18. The Balkans conflict is an excellent example of what happens when you let nationalists take over your political system and then let them carry out policies built on xenophobia and perceived grievances dating back to WW2 and before....
  19. Would have been a lot easier if the Uk had banged a draft leave proposal with the EU first and then asked the Uk public to vote on that. We where basically asked to vote on a whole load of lies, best guesses and fantasies, from both sides of the argument, with no actual facts to go on. No surprise the whole thing is mess.
  20. I think we have to realise Southampton isn't a particularly attractive proposition for managers right now. The better managers whose names get banded around on here will get offers from better clubs than this current cluster **** of a club. I think we are in full old, out of work, Dinosaur manager or young, up coming big risk manager mode right now as a replacement for Hughes. Who ever it turns out to be it probably won't be a very sexy appointment.
  21. Hopefully he wont go full Vincent Tan His next move proved even more absurd. In early October, head of recruitment and good friend of Mackay, Ian Moody, was controversially sacked by the club. The Malaysian owner then decided to replace Moody with 23-year-old Alisher Apsalyamov, a Kazakhstani man who was on summer work experience at the club.
  22. Apparently the best 50 managers in the world right now. Just need Ralph and the board to go and get one of them ? https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/fourfourtwos-50-best-football-managers-world-2018
  23. Not selective at all that's how happened. It took longer than it should have to get Nigel in because we tried to wriggle out of paying S****horpe any compensation.
  24. Really? Yeah I seem to remember after he sacked Pardew Nicky had Nigel installed within hours...certainly wasn't some long drawn out affair, while we lost some league games and got knocked out of the cup, under a caretaker manager...
  25. I'm not sure hiring a manager from a team whose defensive woes makes Hoedt and Stephens look world class in comparison is the best idea...
