We drew the second half one all!! Not much of a consolation I know and man city had their foot off the gas and had their reserves playing but be grateful for small mercies. I think that most people would have accepted a 3 1 defeat before the kick off. We need to beat Everton a week on Saturday. Everything between friday's final whistle and then has to be designed to ensure that we can beat Everton. If tonight has restored a bit of confidence and self belief which will help on Saturday week then I am content.

Semantics. The man told everyone that we would leave on 31 October. In the Tory leadership election Hunt said that we might need longer than 31 October yet Johnson rubbished him. Clearly Hunt was right and Johnson wrong. The man has failed and only blinkered fools would try to argue otherwise.

That's not fair!! He was about to get on the plane to Vietnam where he would have been incredibly brave when he got an attack of bone spurs in his heels. No way could he fight suffering from such an awful complaint. The war went on for another 7 years without Trump. It would have been a lot shorter if he had been there. I bought a box of After Eight mints for a Sunderland supporting work colleague after we beat them 8 nil. He laughed it off and took it in good grace. I no longer work with him but do expect to hear from him this weekend. lol. I have already heard from friends this weekend. I expect that I will hear from more. I suspect that I am not the only Saints fan with such friends. How do you handle the comments ? What is the funniest that you have heard?
