I agree with much of this. Unfortunately for them they do not seem to have politicians with the appeal and gravitas of Kennedy, Clegg or Ashdown in their ranks these days. I also think, as said by somebody above, that they are too apologetic abiut their part in the coalition. They were junior partners but took huge amounts of flak for student loans. They don't take credit for good things that they did. What good things did they do?? I have little idea -partly because they don't mention them! I do know however that Steve Webb the pensions minister and a lib dem did introduce some much needed reforms into the pension scheme. I am at an age which has meant that I have been able to benefit immensely from them. Given another term in office I am sure that he would have done more. He lost his seat in 2015, received a knighthood and I guess is probably earning shed loads more money in private industry.

Pony.

Probably why they are anti Johnson. Has he ever said how many kids he has fathered??
-
Of course. The swamp has to be drained of all flat chested chicks.
-
I will reply for him. Pony. The Electoral Commission is full of pinkoes and the people we have drained out of the swamp. Ignore what they say. Get an ID system in place and insist that chicks reveal their breast size. Only chicks with big talents should be allowed to vote.

Lol!! When my son was 8 years old and couldn't admit that he was wrong he would throw a tantrum to change the argument and end it with a hollow threat. It used to be quite amusing . This beats anything he could come up with.

George Burley? -
That is good news.

He has clearly been on a severe diet since I last saw him.

I think you will find that it was. Jews weren't even allowed to be MPs until 1858. Disraeli had been an MP for 20 years by then because he had been baptised into the Church.

Using language like "chicks" makes him older than 40. He is probably the oldest swinger in town.

Complacency could be an issue in this election. If it is cold and wet in mid December or even snowy complacency could lead some voters to stay indoors and not bother to vote.

Changing the subject a little ... has something happened to View from the top? I used to enjoy his posts but he doesn't seem to have posted for some time. He previously mentioned a cancer issue . Hope he is ok. We need all the supporters we can get.

I'm not niggled. I am just highly amused that you are wrong in what you said yet refuse to admit it. Very amusing. Go on . Admit it. You were wrong. Be the big man and admit for perhaps the first time on this thread that you are wrong. Go on You can do it.
-
Calm down and stop being such a c ock. Admit that you are wrong for once in your life and grow up.

You can't believe anything in that Marxist rag. They just print lies. We just need Farage to negotiate with the Aussies. He might get as good a settlement with them as he did with Johnson.
-
Wrong. When Churchill rejoined the Conservatives in 1924 there had already been a Labour government. I understand that the Liberal minded Earl Duckhunter at the time kept on banging on about the swamp being drained when Churchill left the Liberals. I bet you wish that you had a decent education.

Another King Edwards .... in a much larger city. You are right about the pettiness of a football forum. I am sure that if there was ever a Saintsweb get together 80% /90% of us would get on fine with each other. The anonymity of the forum leads to the pettiness .... but it is fun isn't it. Mind you .... I am sure that at any get together there would be a queue of people wanting to get a peek at that Guided Missile oddball.

No.It was superior actually.

I wonder if English is his first language. A comma after but. Clearly he missed out on the grammar classes at his posh school.

A question... If people go back on ignore when do they come off ignore so that they can go back on ignore?? I can see why he flunked his A levels but are all Pompey Poly's graduates as thick as him?

With someone like David Miliband in control of Labour we would now be in the third year of a Labour government. They would have cleaned up in 2017. We may still have left the EU (if DM had been Labour leader in 2016 the referendum result would have been different) but the country would be in a better state than it is now. I have never voted Labour but looking at the current state of the Tories I would readily welcome a Labour government under someone like David Miliband.
