As long as we play better at West Ham than we did last year. That game for me was last season's lowest point. Hughes learnt a lot from that game (did Boufal play again that season?) but relegation seemed most likely after that match. Onwards and upwards.

Will this affect Ralph's selection on Saturday? I was hoping that with our Premier status secured we would try out some of the youngsters at West Ham. This must be unlikely now if we are to put out a strong team on Friday. Alfie Jones is one in particular that I would like to see in the first team. Our central defence options are currently limited so Saturday may have been an option for him.

Forster has been on the bench for the last couple of matches. His rehabilitation is nearly finished. I can see us keeping him and selling McCarthy . We would get much more for McCarthy than Forster which would provide much needed transfer funds and would also remove the need for a "wages adjustment"

I thought Jon Moss was a pretty good ref yesterday. I slag them off when they get things wrong so praise us deserved when they have a good game. Hughes was breathtakingly rude last season about Moss after the away game at Everton. It is nice to see that Moss bears no grudges against us.
