They all criticise May for her negotiating style yet theirs has been appalling. Davis, Raab and Boris have all walked away when the going got too tough for them. Their insistence on a " pure Brexit" and rejection of the WA has gained them nothing and may even lead to no Brexit. They mishandled the vote of confidence in May back before Christmas meaning that she could not be challenged until December 2019. God help us if they get their hands on the tiller.

... and for some reason we are only going to bother with 6 subs.

One True Brexit's standard bearers stand firm in bonkers battle https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/mar/26/one-true-brexits-standard-bearers-stand-firm-in-bonkers-battle? I wonder if Wes and Jihadi John were there. It sounds right up their street.

The government may be prepared for riots but I am not sure that they would happen. Riots on political issues are not the English way. The authorities also tend to stamp pretty quickly on any kind of civil disobedience - witness the prosecutions of drivers on the recent go slow protest against the Brexit debate. Everything currently is up for grabs and I am fully prepared to be proved wrong but I do not expect to see Brexit inspired riots.

Why are you sneering at "soooo many" white middle class people being on the march ??
-
So if you are white and middle class you shouldn't go on marches ??? Right on brother ...

During the referendum campaign I often felt that one of the advantages that the Leavers had over Remainers was passion. They really hated the EU. People like Farage, Redwood, Cash etc had spent their entire political lives campaigning against the EU and weren't going to give up this opportunity to convince voters to leave. Remain on the other hand had the likes of Dismal Dave Cameron and gormless Osborne. They gave the impression that they didn't really like the EU but it was sort of better than nothing. There was no passion for the EU amongst Remainers. This weekend's march and the online petition (5.1 million now and still growing, brainbox Mosin if you are reading) are helping to redress the balance. It is the Remainers who now have the passion whilst it is the Leavers who are starting to look insipid. Has anyone else seen the pathetic 200 strong march led by Farage?? Whether this will mean much is the big question. The horse has already bolted and the passion and enthusiasm for the EU may well have come too late to prevent Brexit ..... but what it does do is redress the balance. The UK's relationship with the EU is going to be a live political issue for years to come.

It probably is true and explains a lot of what happened in the January transfer window. Losing Davis, Gabbadini, Hoedt and Cedric make a commercial sense.

We would be above them on goals scored.

He used to be a skate but he's all right now.

He certainly demonstrates the intellectual (let's call it) limitations of Guided Missile.

You may have loads of email addresses but your knowledge of the facts is pitifully poor. Northern Ireland voted to remain in the referendum. Perhaps your lack of knowledge of basic facts explains why your predictions are so wrong.
-
Calm down dear, calm down. You are clearly rattled. You were the one who dissed it yesterday and thought that it would struggle to reach 2 million. You were clearly wrong. Your judgement is amusingly incorrect yet instead of admitting it you continue to belittle it. Why ? Don't you like the thought of people expressing their opinion ?? Just admit it ... Your judgement of the size of this petition has been wrong . As I said don't gamble on anything this weekend because your predictive abilities are obviously rather lacking.

3.7 million now chum and still growing. A word of advice. Don't try to bet on any horses this weekend.

Not really. Any post Brexit restrictions on the import of French or other European cheeses will affect cheese lovers. Any increase in the cost of European cheese due to Brexit will affect cheese lovers. Indeed the drop in the value of the pound since June 2016 has already increased the cost. I reckon that the Love Island bird was talking sense.

He gets annoyed if people say that the chemicals he flogs damage the environment... which of course they don't...no siree.... not one teeny weeny bit.... It is just those nasty people in Europe who hate British sovereignty who think they do

I don't know why you bother with him. He announces that he has people on ignore like a 7 year old prima Donna but is the able to read whatever they post. Mind you he is probably too busy sourcing piano wire in industrial quantities to spend time reading posts on here.

Leader of Nigel Farage's party resigns over anti-Islam messages https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/mar/20/leader-of-pro-brexit-party-catherine-blaiklock-resigns-over-anti-islam-messages? Another one of Wes's comments that already looks just a teeny weeny bit wrong : lol:

Looks like some piano wire will have to be delivered to the Speaker's house

What you mean "Southampton born" Sick Note.

Lol. Let's face it there is a fat chance of any other person with a tenuous link with Portsmouth being called up for England. As a matter of interest when was the last graduate of Pompey's youth team / academy called up for England?

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/mar/17/maurizio-sarri-chelsea-everton? Not quite what the Guardian thinks. It sounds as if you were lucky to still be in the match at half time.
