Look fella, I think a bit of an explanation is required. Back in January, when you were too yellow to appear on this board , anothersaintinsouthsea collected a few of Corp's most memorable posts and destroyedthem!! If you would like to read it , it is on page 728. Last week, about 6 months later, Corp tried to answer it ... but made a bit of a horlicks of it. Clearly Corp's family motto is not "When you are stuck in a hole, stop digging." So I do not really think that anothersaininsouthsea needs to be admonished for a lack of argument where Corp is concerned. and anywayCorp is a c u n t isn't he!!

Whaattt - there is a Mrs Corp Ho !!!! She has my sympathies. I think this must be one of the most amazing revelations in this thread. I presume that there are no Corpettes - surely people like him are not allowed to breed!!!
-
I knew you would come round to our way of thinking ;-)
-
Not yet. We already have enough players to make up a team and have players left over for a subs bench. Do you??

Says the boke who has posted 5,400 times on this forum. PMSL

Nice try but don't expect to get any meaningful insight out of him. He would rather start to bang on about crowds of 45k watching Champion League football.
-
But why not say something about Pompey? They are meant to be our rivals aren't they. You keep on banging on about crowds of 45k and Champions Leabue football and bringing it ino every thread. . Do you think we are nearer to achieving that than Pompey??
-
One thing is for sure. We are nearer to playing in the Champions League in front of 45,000 fans than Pompey are!!
-
So now why are you slightly unsure? Its now 6 pm and according to you he was signing today.
-
Hang on.This morning according to you CMS was definitely signing today for them. Now it is only likely that he will sign for them. Why the hint of uncertainty now ?? Surely you have not got something wrong have you????
-
As I said, go on to the Leicester site and reassure them that they are a big spending club. They need your assurance.
-
I think the clues are "on a free" and "rumoured" to have bid. Unlike us, they have not met Chelsea's valuation yet. Why don't you go on the Leicester site and re assure them that they are a big ambitious club who are spending big as their fans currently do not think so. You may be more popular on their board than you are on here.:-) As for West Ham - why should Cork have to take a gamble at this stage of his career??? He may well want to take time to ensure he makes the right choice - but he certainly doesn't want to lose a gamble and end up in a Pompey style train crash.
-
Try and keep up mate. Leicester have spent £1 million so far this transfer window. They are not big spenders.Their fans on their forums are not happy with their lack of spending. I would hardly call their manager inspirational when TV impressionists take the pis out of him and his most recent cv contains the names of clubs like Notts County!! West Ham are the enigma in the division. They could run away with the title next season .... or they could just explode. Paying Nolan £50k a week for 5 years when apparently they have no money smacks of Pompey style decision making - and we know how that ended up !! The last thing that Cork wants at this stage of his career is to be associated with a Pompey - like crash and burn!!
-
Is that real -- or just unbelievably negative?? The hard sell from NC & NA could do wonders for his decision making. Sven laughing stock Ericsson would hardly be inspirational whilst Big Sam seems to be basing his West Ham revival around Nolan. Would there be room at West Ham for both Cork and Nolan??

Sorry -- wrong thread

The thing is that I am sure that he need not have said anything about finances. The fact is that he did. I am sure that we are in a better financial state than most other Championship clubs. Thank God we are not like Pompey. The only thing that can be said with certainty about their finances is that it is dirty money which their owners need to be laundered,
-
Exactly. The pr*t is a deluded fantasist.... but I think that most of us knew that anyway.
-
So long as it is one of those lovely real ales.

Unlike PFC , Mero and Mack had the balls to stay on this board during the badtimes down at the cesspit. We have enjoyed their contributions. They have kept up to date with events down at "the arena" & hence have a better grip on reality. PFC disappears for months on end and only appears when he thinks he has something to feel proud about - like another bunch of dodgy, Russian mafia owners. Its amazing how a bunch of money launderers can make a Pompey fan feel so pleased. We just need Corp to reappear and then we will have a full set of those funny fishy folk back on this thread.

Christ. Didn;t you lot have a lot of fun yesterday afternoon. I am pleased that I was unable to log on. At the risk of being called airhead, an idiot, f*****g mental etc etc I do think you are correct.
-
Christ. Yesterday you were banging on about crowds of 45k per week. Today it is 50k. What figure do we need to justify an expansion to 36/38k in your eyes? Any advances on 50k???
-
I think a correction is needed here. NC is a businessman. Rupert Lowe thought he was a businessman but was not really!!
-
What an idiotic reply. We will not average 30k attendances next season. No way. But that is no reason why we should not plan for expansion in the future. You and Turkish have a strange way of arguing. Anybody who disagrees with you is an airhead or a clown. You then state a strange proposition (we must have 30k fans this season // we need to sell out against Torquay iin the League Cup to demonstrate we have 45k fans) and if your ridiculous proposition is not proven , you hurl abuse at the poeople who disagree with you. My son used to argue like that when he was 6 years old but he soon grew out of it. My view, for what it is worth, is that expansion will happen on a gradual basis. When our current capacity is not enough, one stand will be expanded. Another stand will be expanded when we need more space. Expansion will happen - it is just strange that some Saints fans are so vehmently against it.
-
Why is a gradual expansion like this financially OK for other teams but not for us?? Wolves are expanding this summer. Brighton have already started to talk about expanding at their new stadium. Why is it good enough for them but not for us?
