  1. And whilst you have been away everyone has taken the p**s out of you for thr vehement way you reckoned that Wotte was wonderful and would never see us relegated!!! :-) :-)
  2. These are hourly rates.
  3. This appeared today on my desk at work which I thought may be of interest "Begbies Traynor is a national firm. The rates charged are set nationally but vary to suit local market conditions. The rates applying to the Preston office are: Partner 1 Charge out rate per £395 Partner 2 £350 Director £325 Senior Manager £295 Manager £250 Assistant Manager £195 Senior Administratot £160 Administrator £130 Junior Administrator £100 Cashier £100 Secretarial £100 " ... and I bet it is cheaper oop North in Preston than down here. Quite an expensive game this administration lark!!!
  4. 2 days. On the 20th May (earlier if they do not use electronic means) the club will need to send to the Inland Revenue, the National Insurance and income tax deductions that were made from the salaries paid in April. I imagine that this will be quite a hefty sum. Often it is the failure to pay this that causes financially stricken clubs to have problems with the taxman (and the subsequent further point deductions if no CVA is reached). So next week is going to be quite a strain on the cashflow!!! Somebody must be feeling confident of a deal being done before next week to cancel sunday's game & turn down "derisory" offers for Dyer and Rasiak!!
  5. You would have thought that Lowe would have had better things to do with himself than write letters to the Echo. MP's seem to do quite well for themselves and Rupert loves a good troiugh to get his snout into. (£100 grand for 3 days a week!!) I am surprised he has not set his heart on being the first UKIP MP in the House of Commons.
  6. which was quickly followed by lloydy james football player.
  7. What an excellent post. You sum up the charade of the season perfectly.
  8. At the end of the game some of the Forest fans did give us applause - in particular for that banner held up saying SFC 1885 - We will never die. (or something like that). Good on 'em.
  9. I wore my "I was there when Claus scored" T shirt. Perhaps it was prophetic!!
  10. This afternoon goes to show how desperately we need Size. It was 1-1 when he went off & Lancashire replaced him. 10 minutes later it was 3-1. Lets just hope that we keep hold of Size - or at the very least find a suitable replacement. I can now say that I have seen Gasmi play!! With a bit of luck I will not see him again in a Saints shirt.
  11. What a silly, silly man. And he has nothing better to do at 1.48 on a Saturday night than write this tosh!!!
  12. Oh yes?? When did I or the other recipients of your sick PM send you an abusive PM?? Sometimes the sensible Sundance / Canteen seems to forget what the nutty Sundance / Canteen has been up to.
  13. I thought his son was called Alphonse. and his daughter Coriander
  14. PMSL You are getting really funny now 19. Don't you get infraction points for referring to LM as Mcmoneyme. Mind you it doesn't matter does it 19?? If you get banned as 19 Canteen you can always return as Sundance Beast can't you??
  15. You missed out the word "painfully." Only joking Frank!!
  16. I cannot believe that you don't appreciate the significance of Lowe being invited to Sunday's match by Forest. Amazed .. but that of course is your opinion and you are fully entitled to it. I am also entitled to my view which is different from yours. And I will enjoy giving vent to my opinions on Sunday in Nottingham. YOu are
  17. That would explain some of the cryptic comments about the East and Indians in the directors's box last Saturday.
  18. Perhaps he plans on returning to Stevenage Borough.
  19. The guy yesterday was Mike Jones. According to my lad , he was in charge at the home match v QPR.
  20. Your posts derry, over the last 4 weeks have been very interesting. I have been very impressed by the way that you have managed to get the idea of a fans's bid going - albeit only as a last resort in the event that no buyer comes forward. Have you now stopped your fans's bid activities? Are you so confident that we will get a buyer that SOS can be wound up? Or do you continue to plan to have meetings with the likes of the Saints Trust "just in case" a fan's bid is still likely to be required?
  21. Up to now the NDA's seem to have been very well observed. There have been no hints or leakages - even on this forum!!! Why therefore has the ban now "apparently" been broken - in Lowe's favourite newspaper?
  22. and I have spent the last half hour trying to find a hedgefund or financial institution with the initials LIMA :-) :-)

    Third half

A great saint - but he hadn't taken his happy pills today. Listening to him between 2 and half past before the match today made me feel pretty suicidal. I know that its academic now but he & the muppet who was on today kept on banging on that Forest's goal difference was +4 better than ours. They didn't seem to realise that if we beat them next week by 2 goals it would be the same. Then he went on and on and on again about how our football in the first half of the season had been pretty to watch but lacked a cutting edge. I happen to agree with him but I didn't want to hear him going on about it for the umpteenth time less than 40 minutes from a very important game. If he gets a job at the club I really hope that it is nothing to do with the pre match teamtalk!!
  24. There was an Indian looking guy in the directors's box today!!
