The Conservatives are fast becoming a weird political cult rather than a political party. True believers of Brexit are the only people admitted to the cult. They seem to be forgetting the middle of the road , floating voters who are not devout believers. I think it is sad that a broad church is now the home of such zealots. Unfortunately the main opposition party is going the same way so the choice at this election is not easy for anyone who is in the middle.

I may be wrong but I thought that one of the issues was if Scotland were to join the EU they would be obliged to join the Euro. To me that would not necessarily be a bad thing but that could cause a few issues for many people !!

We drew the second half one all!! Not much of a consolation I know and man city had their foot off the gas and had their reserves playing but be grateful for small mercies. I think that most people would have accepted a 3 1 defeat before the kick off. We need to beat Everton a week on Saturday. Everything between friday's final whistle and then has to be designed to ensure that we can beat Everton. If tonight has restored a bit of confidence and self belief which will help on Saturday week then I am content.

Semantics. The man told everyone that we would leave on 31 October. In the Tory leadership election Hunt said that we might need longer than 31 October yet Johnson rubbished him. Clearly Hunt was right and Johnson wrong. The man has failed and only blinkered fools would try to argue otherwise.

That's not fair!! He was about to get on the plane to Vietnam where he would have been incredibly brave when he got an attack of bone spurs in his heels.
