It really is a cracking little ground. Went there a few years ago when they played Dagenham when we were playing Everton on the Sunday (I think). Stood on the away terrace with about 50 Dagenham fans in the rain. They spent most of the time watching a Saturday League game on a pitch just behind the stadium. Daggers fans then had a mass protest outside the away changing rooms, which you can pretty much stand right next to. It would be a great day.

Away terrace holds 1500 plus usually 500 seats.

Great tie for once. Annoyingly went there a few years ago to tick it off, but would be great on the terrace. If we beat Derby of course. Skates on course for Round 5...

Long, Austin, Elyounoussi and Targett were diabolical. The former two are actually a bit of a joke now, they’re not even L1 standard and they’re regularly trying to do a job in the PL. Bit pathetic really.

A good point being raised here is the non SO postcode lot who don’t really ‘get’ it. Especially where the Skates are concerned. It’s not surprising since we’re by far the biggest club south of London, but the spreading of our fanbase is unfortunate. In general though it is a South Coast disease. Look at us, skates, AFCB, Brighton, even Plymouth. All majority mong fanbase.

Derby have only sold 12,000 and have a stand closed. Could be on the dull side.

Following relegation, the next few years produced some of the best support I’ve seen us have. Unfortunately the only way for it to happen again is to go down which obviously isn’t ideal.

It really is quite incredible. I assume (probably wrongly) that these grown adults have jobs, a wife, perhaps some kids? Do they not look at themselves and think what the hell am I doing? The lack of self awareness is horrifying. In terms of that last night, I’d go as far as to say that every single one of them needs their hard drive checking. And don’t get me started on the stupid women who has made it go viral on Twitter and embarrassed the club even further. The replies to this thread don’t really surprise me though. I urge everyone to have a look around them at their next away game, it really is soul destroying what you’ll see.

Indeed. Hopefully that will fizzle out as a one game wonder from a bunch of weirdos. Anyway, everyone has played two teams twice and for us that’s Chelsea and City. That can't be underestimated and I’m trying to ignore the table at present.
