i thought he held the whole defence together on saturday, i thought hosveld look way out of touch, cork was played out of position, and fox spent most the time up the pitch Jose is class & pls get well very soon DS we need you, is all i have to say.....

to be fair the the guy - he was awful shame i had hoped he was the CB we were all hoping for... he was static, showed no pace and hardly won a header all afternoon hurry back danny seaborne and before any one moans - yes i was at the game and had perfect view of their 2 goals (i sit up high, level with the top of the 6 yard box)

i think its only his shooting that let him down, he has everything else to be a great great player. IMHO we will be fortunate to hold on to him for many more seasons :-(

fabrice fernandez was close to adams close control ability...

can't say i'm that bothered really - i am hoping for a top draw CB with better pedigree than him tbh

the whole loyalty thing is very unfair on players who need to make as much money as they can, while they can.... it is there job after all... i think Adam is brilliant and well worth whatever we are paying him - however if a prem club comes in and offers to triple or quad it, it is hardly fair to stand in his way if we are not able to match it our reward will be the large fee we will demand - imho £25m+ - why not? if one of the big teams is doing badly and sees him as a quick fix come Jan? we all want him to stay and play in the prem next year with Saints - but if someone comes in with stupid money for both him and us, then its bye bye, good luck and thanks - tbh this could happen even when we're in the prem....

whoever we buy will have to be bloody good to improve the team at the mo thats for sure (and for the record i do think we should get a top quality CB)

don't forget he got injured - he seemed not bad for the first couple of games, then got whacked and i suppose he is now getting back in to it.... still prefer we don't sign him and replace him with the best quality we can afford, as i think the CMF needs improving - some time the ball passes them by...
