Yep. And adaptability. The squad is surely a 352 squad. Sugar and Welly as wingbacks. Downs and Archer through the middle.
-
As much as I don't want to judge Still yet, it'd help if he played a system that suits his players.
-
That's him. Hope he's got a drone now. Much safer.
-
Minty. Was he the lad who climbed the trees at staplewood?
-
Yep. He's working with hands tied as well. Can't be easy trying to prepare with players who want out / we want to move on. I'll judge once the season is up and running and he's got a settled squad.
-
I'm not sure who does. Or who the alternative is.

Sell the players who were always going to leave, too early, shite owners. Sell them late after a bit of bidding, shite owners. Buy players before players have gone, shite owners. Buy them late after we've cleared the decks, shite owners. To put another way, fans aren't ever happy. But yep, shite, line up today.
-
I guess it's based on the team we could put out if everyone stayed.

Score prediction. 0-3
-
We need to, but I'm still not convinced we'll get much business done. I think there's some book balancing going on and it'll be loans late in the window.
-
Nico Lawrence. Young CB who, I think, came from non League then went on loan to a league 2 club before getting injured. Never heard of the other lad.
-
That midfield and GK isn't.
-
I'm not sure why you see that lineup and bench and that's your first thought. Far bigger issues than that.
-
Yep. That's left us with a properly crap midfield.
-
Ditto. Seems very decent. I wonder if it's his height that's Still's issue, and why he played him in a 3 today.
-
"Thoroughly depressing". Just a tad dramatic. Anyone who thinks that we don't have a squad of championship level players needs to give their heads a wobble. Sure, we need a bit here and there, but thoroughly depressing it is not.
-
The focus by some on him is ridiculous. Yep, he ain't the best, but he's fine at this level. A decent GK, creative AM to replace Fernandes, a CM to cover Downes and Charles, a wide player who'll create/score, are far more pressing issues.

Yep. They're the team to beat imo. Cracking squad.

Shocking news about Princess Di.

What needs to happen to give Israel safety? Kill thousands more civilians under the guise of taking out a few Hamas blokes? If something else, what would that be?
-
What do you want instead? Every Hamas member killed with whatever collateral damage that entails? Hamam disarmed and not in power is the most that's realistically possible. Anyways, what's your stance on recognising a Palestinian state?
-
I think you're just being obtuse. Canada and the UK have put clear conditions on recognising a Palestinian state. They both provide for no Hamas involvement in running Gaza.
-
You still miss the point. Our business model is to sign players who'll give us a year or two then be sold for profit to a bigger club. We have to sell those players to be able to attract the next batch - they won't come here if we don't do that. Other clubs who operate in that way do the same. Clubs that don't operate in that way don't. You can't compare how we operate to a club that doesn't.
-
That's the condition of the Canada and UK position mate. Keep up.
-
I'm not saying it's the right model, but it's our model. Anyone expecting us to not do what we have been, and will be, doing needs to appreciate the reality. You can't operate this model and block players from moving on. People like Fernandes are glorified loan signings, but with the intention of making a profit.
