Nice summary in the Australian news - always good to have a neutrals take on it. Summary - US fans, players, caddies = classless peasants. https://www.news.com.au/sport/golf/shut-the-f-up-mcilroy-blows-up-as-ryder-cup-mayhem-causes-concern/news-story/a9624b0dfb3ae620d444375595a93a5d

It's a half glass full of half glass empty thing. That's a half glass empty comment - or overly negative if you like. We drew with the league leaders with a massively changed team, and a much improved performance. Players playing together for the first time played well together. My glass is half full. Was yesterday perfect, no, there's still a lack of ideas and confidence up front, but Still showed he has a pair, and the players turned up. I've no idea how the season will pan out, but the only game that matters is the next one and I'm much more positive about that after yesterday.

Yep, we've done badly and are well below where this squad should be, but talk of relegation 6 pointers at this stage of the season is ridiculous. Decent mauled by the tigers line though.
-
If we're there 2/3 of the way through the season, you'd have a point. At this stage it's just daft trolling.
-
Rory MacIlroy's "shut the fuck up" to a noisy yank idiot was quality. Even better was the shot he followed it with.
-
Relegation. Behave.
-
Yep. Exactly that, although Fellows making it a 3 behind Stewart going forwards.
-
Yep. 3421. Matching their shape. Fellows trying to peg Targett back, and tracking him when he gets forwards.
-
Great goal. I'm pleased for the lad. His confidence was shot to pieces, and that'll do him the world of good.
-
I reckon so. AA on the left, but cutting in, and using Manning on the overlap.
-
Downs and Roerslev out of the squad completely sends a proper message. I'd like to have seen THB fully out as well, and Aribo or Matsuki on the bench just to give another midfield option.
-
I think Edwards RB in a 4. Not sure how we'll play ahead of that. AA wide left would be odd, but...
-
Based on what? One game in a back 3? You've not seen him in a 4.
-
He's a richer man's Russell Martin. Hard to see where his career goes from here.
-
I agree, but I think THB will. If we're playing a 3, I'd argue a case for Stephens, Wood and Edwards. I wouldn't have THB near the team or bench. Quarshie would be the sub for me. Re the bench, I'd like to see Aribo there today. He's an option we should be using.

Ha!!! Loads of undercover "ICE" type folks following on their plain clothes bikes ready to pounce after matey has delivered a KFC order is a sure fire recipe to truly smash the gangs.
-
We need to increase the penalties and throw cash at effective enforcement. The practical difficulty is actually checking who the staff are when they're whizzing around on their bikes delivering shit food.
-
No we don't. The players in the back 3 in the week were better than those 4 from the previous games, so I reckon he'll switch it up today. The issue he has picking a 3 is that he can't accommodate the new wingers plus Azaz in either a 352 or a 343 or a 3421. Although it's not what I'd pick, my guess is we'll mirror their 3421 system. Someone to come into the 3 alongside THB and Stephens. I'd like Edwards who can step into midfield when we're out of possession, and carry the ball when he has it. I reckon Jander to be benched, and Azaz will be one of the 2 in behind Archer.
-
Absolutely. It needs a proper deterrent, and for it to properly enforced. Utterly ridiculous that firms are getting away with hiring whoever they want without penalty.
-
I agree with that. I don't have an issue with an ID card, but like you, I don't see how it addresses the fundamental issue. An ID card without bodies on the ground to police them is pointless.

HMRC - government. They have personal data for all legitimate working people. I'm not persuaded that the government storing data about working people that the government already has is a point at all, let alone a good one.

I live in a strong Tory seat. I've never voted Tory, but would switch my vote from lib dem if it helped keep Reform out. There's a lot of lib dem support here though, so I'd be concerned about a lib dem/Tory vote split leaving the door ajar for reform.
