  1. Nope. What I actually said was that it's daft to "bash labour for the rise in food prices that are dictated by a multitude of non governmental factors, to include the weather". That's because it is. I've acknowledged that NI costs have played some part in it. You've failed to acknowledge that there are multitude of factors outside of government control.
  2. Cheers. So a bit of food inflation is policy related. Nowt to do with the weather? Fuel, coffee and chocolate prices? Rachel's fault too?
  3. That would be a superb result.
  4. He might not mutually agree. May want paying up in full, or a "loyalty" bonus linked to a transfer fee. But I agree in principle that we need to bite the bullet and cut him loose.
  5. It's a pay wall link What does it say that's relevant to the point about food and fuel inflation being a governmental caused issue? Employers NI may slightly impact the former, but I'm struggling to understand how that's made my Colombian coffee beans shoot up in price.
  6. Monopoly
  7. Indeed. I'm struggling with people discounting a victory against inter or liverpool because we didn't do it with enough swagger. Should it only count as a win if we get 8 or more for artistic merit? Crazy.
  8. This new tennis mixed doubles nonsense. A set is first to 6. Not 4. Stop fecking with things that aren't fecked.
  9. I'm assuming the organiser isn't the ex Rangers player Kevin Muscat. Either way, he ain't doing too well.
  10. Hard to disagree with that. Puel was dealt a very tough hand and played it well imo. Boring, ISH, but give me me any brand of football which leaves us in 8th and doing well in cups, rather than a brand that leaves us rock bottom and an embarrassment.
  11. Damning. I wish the bloke no ill and the celebration that he's struggling at Rangers seems unnecessary. That said, he is a poor manager. Some of us called before he arrived but got shouted down. He's had a career spinning a philosophy which just doesn't work as well on grass as he thinks it will. He'll be out of Rangers soon, and it's hard to see where he goes from there.
  12. Indeed. Pretty daft to bash labour for the rise in food prices that are dictated by a multitude of non governmental factors, to include the weather. It's a tad difficult for them to control the oil markets too.
  13. I'm guessing you haven't actually looked at the hotel numbers under our "left wing" government compared to the Tories. If you bothered, you'd see they've halved, but yeah, bloody left wingers eh.
  14. He's not stood with or near the bloke. Daft sensationalism.
  15. And that's despite Rothwell filling half the pitch.
  16. You're not persuading me that matey switching off for the first is about the coaching. That's just shit defending. The second may be some mad zonal, don't pick up a man, coaching I suppose. Either way, leaving the fella all alone was criminal.
  17. To be fair, no manager can legislate for the crap defending for the first, or for nobody picking up the man for the second. That's on the players for me.
  18. Cheers. The kid looked a really good prospect and I hope he does well. Judging by the pic of Rothwell up there, he looks like a pub player. Awful condition for a pro athlete.
  19. Couldn't have put it better myself!
  20. I haven't watched. How did Meghoma play?
  21. He's the Jake Paul of football management. Awful manager. Unemployed by October at the latest.
  22. I repeat, what's the alternative?
  23. Quite. There's no alternative to the negotiated land concession. It shouldn't be this way, but the west let Ukraine down badly with the Budapest agreement, then carrying on as if nothing happened after Crimea. The US can't and won't carry on supporting a fight that Ukraine can't win. I'd wager that Putin will now hit Ukraine bloody hard to ramp up the pressure for a concession.
  24. So what's the alternative?
