  1. Dunno, couldn't tell. That is an abomination of a hair do thou - glad I'm bald if it avoids a barber doing that to me.

  3. Jesus Christ! Tom Davies left? Calvert Lewin right? Who's that in the middle with Lego man hair?
  4. I'm sure I red leicester want him.
  5. My only question is, When's Lee Dale signing? He's the lad who curd keep us up.
  6. It shows how low some fans expectations have dropped when people are applauding your post. It seems that people are now willing to accept anyone rather than someone who's shown themselves good enough. Sad times imo.
  7. 6 bullets in a gun, could be that we've dodged 5 and the last 1 hits the target 🤞
  8. Odd comment as I said nothing about the manager! As for the rest, thanks for explaining that cover is cover, although I did have an inkling of what it was...the simple point that you've overlooked is that cover needs to be adequate, and I don't think this lad is.
  9. Thanks for sharing, much appreciated 👍
  10. Any idea if it's a wages issue, our probable relegation, or something else that's making players not want to join us?
  11. He can apparently play both sides. He's a downgrade on KWP and Perraud. Given that we need size and power, he's arguably a downgrade on Lyanco who at least offers that when he fills in at RB. Cover or not, if we have 2 x short full backs, and our current players, we have nobody other the centre backs giving height when defending set pieces. Feels another pointless one to me.
  12. And is slow. And short. We need pace, power, height, and preferably some quality. Bree feels like a downgrade on what we've got.
  13. Sadly I think it's fantasy to believe that we'll get a striker.

Zero chance he'd have signed for us over Newcastle. Henderson though, that's a different matter.

  16. "Fans" - you win some, you lose some.
  17. To be fair, maybe he had no decent kids available to him at Luton? He's had some younger players on the bench here, but given the mess we're in, I think it's understandable that he'd prefer experience on the pitch.
  18. Interesting perspective, buy I'm not sure that "sign on the line JJ, we're going down so you'll get more chances next season" is going to tempt the kid. Of course he wants to be part of a premier league club.
  19. As disappointing as this is, how are we supposed to persuade a kid to commit his next few years to us when we're staring at relegation, when other clubs are circulating and doubtless offering the kid loads of cash? Answers on a postcard for what is expected of the club.
  20. Yes. Your Saturday afternoons back, and a bit more sanity.

  24. I suspect they can find better, but it's not just about identifying players. The selling club needs to sell at a price we can pay/are willing to pay. Then we've got to persuade a player to join a relegation battle, with potentially lower league football thereafter.
