Yep. It is a 442. Sure, 2 of the midfield 4 often tuck in and push up but whatever the hipsters like to call it, we mostly play a 442.
-
Not for me. Never been impressed, and that Hoj improved the Spurs team when he replaced Winks tells it's own story.

It's everywhere at the moment. Everyone I know getting it a 2nd or 3rd time are much more unwell than they were 1st time around. That's after the vaccines and the antibodies from previous infection. I know a couple of people needing paramedic assistance who were able to shrug it off as 'a cold' 1st time around. Not sure why that it is but the next few months will be interesting.

Not that I can see. Wasn't on the bench at Brentford or any of the last 3 games.

The thing is, Ralph hasn't been using these promising 16 year olds, not even token bench spots at the end of the season. All we can give these kids over other clubs is first team football and if we're not delivering on that, they may as well go somewhere else where they won't get it either but will get more cash, and their parents well looked after.
-
If we give one promising kid a million quid over 3 years (plus, I suspect, other sweeteners to them and their parents) there'll all want them. Sometimes in business you just have to say no.
-
Yep. Sub them at two goals. Or shoot them. Risky otherwise.

He's technically very good. Tackles well. Passes well. Presses well. Organises his team mates. What part of that do you disagree with?

Morgan struggling at United is completely irrelevant. He was brilliant for us.

One irony is that using nukes would probably be the only way to bring Russia to its knees, but them having them means we can't do much more than we're doing now. Another irony is that if Ukraine still had them, this invasion would never have happened.
-
Strongly put, but getting rid of them would be crazy. They're the strongest weapon, thus the strongest deterrent.

Their response: we won't give a shit. Sure, their international reputation is shot, but as long as they have oil and gas, they'll always have a solid income stream. People believing he'll fall on his sword are hopeful, but there's no sign of it in reality.
-
I don't see his demise sadly. People expected the sanctions to lead to some dramatic downfall but it hasn't happened, and won't, as long as there's a market for Russian gas and oil (especially at sky high prices). It'd take a coup of some sort and unless that's the army (who are a little distracted), I don't see where it'll come from. As for Russia being fucked, let's be honest, we're not far behind economically speaking.

Are Saints funds being used to fund a Turkish Div 2 club?
egg replied to once_bitterne's topic in The Saints
Interesting discussion. The new owners have essentially said that we'll continue to be a self sustaining club as we were under Gao. In that respect, nothing has changed. These guys are a bit more hipster though, and the Brentford link gives football legitimacy, but in reality they ain't much different and we haven't become Man City lite. Sure, we've signed players already, but we don't know how that's been structured or financed. Onto the original question, the answer is undoubtedly a no. -
He'd be a decent signing, and would suit our style well imo.

The Message by Grandmaster Flash popped up my Spotify earlier today...1982...these lyrics, amongst others very apt..."double-digit inflation. Can't take the train to the job, there's a strike at the station".
