Why do that? KWP is decent but can't take us upfield from RB like this kid can. He signed as a RB, he's been brilliant at RB, so people day move him. Daft imo.
-
It's a fair point. Aintforever is still wrong though
-
KWP as a right sided CB is a crazy idea. He's far too small. I'm not sure the people calling for Livramento to play as a winger have seen him play for us. He's good because he picks the ball up deep and runs from there between the lines, or uses the ball. If he's not doing it from there, we lose that outlet. He's being played where we need him.

Yeah, racists the world over will stop in their tracks seeing those Brentford boys in the knees for 8 seconds before kick off.
-
I know nothing about this bloke, but the suggestion that journalists should reveal their sources is daft.
-
So you're saying that because they've been promoted, the Brentford players taking the knee will have a global impact? I'll go out on a limb and say that's nonsense.
-
I'm looking forward to the answer...I think we're finally getting to an acknowledgement (grudgingly) that it's PR and virtue signalling...
-
So you're saying it was for the clubs image?
-
Saying something must be bullshit because the evidence / source isn't detailed is a pretty daft thing to say. Journalists rarely reveal their sources, otherwise the source ceases to be a source.
-
Jesus wept. What do you think happened to suddenly make Brentford change their mind?
-
Who's upset SOG? I'm merely highlighting the link between the change of stance at Brentford after their promotion, and the telling words in their own press release. Its you that seems upset poppet.
-
I fail to believe that they believe, and that you don't believe that it's PR bollox. Unbelievable.
-
Have you actually read that? Read between the obvious lines in that Brentford statement. "We believe that in the upcoming season the collective cause of tackling discrimination and racism will be best served by acting in unison and solidarity with all our fellow Premier League teams, as was outlined in a statement from the Premier League yesterday" Basically, doing as they're told so they're not the odd one out.
-
If they double his wages and throw him a chunky signing on fee, Newcastle will suddenly become the club he's always dreamed of playing for. That said, I suspect their policy will be to be slightly less ambitious in terms of signings in January, and CB Fry's theory above sounds credible to me.
-
You've made that up, or just assumed. They stopped because they thought it was nonsense and they were being used as puppets. They started this season because they had to - no Marxist issue, no principle pricking at them, but very simply because premier league clubs had to.
-
You said : "Very good point! The dissolution if the Uk would lead to a much more democratic representation of the four nations. England can be forever a one party state. Let the other nations be governed by people they vote for" I agree with you. Let them go, but I'm confused by the inconsistency of your stance on this and brexit. We voted brexit and have suffered, and will suffer, financially. If the other nations get independence, they will suffer financially. If I understand you correctly, you say that the uk' s independence from the EU is madness, but that the other home nations independence from the UK wouldn't be madness.
-
Nicely swerved. I'll answer for you - they'd be worse off financially. I'm quite happy for them all to go, although NI is a different animal with implications galore.
-
How would that go without the Barnett monies? Self dependency would be a disaster, hence the Scottish vote to remain in the union. Personally, I'd be happy to be free of the shackles of the other nations.
-
That wouldn't surprise me. They've lost Messi, Griezman and Suarez and replaced with Depay and other mediocre players. They've saved a fortune but are now a very average team.
-
What he's done since he left us is relevant to the question of whether we'd want him back. He was great here, but he's been shit since he left us, so I wouldn't want him back. He was also blessed with a great squad of players whilst he was here. He wouldn't get a tune out of this lot.
-
Impressive, especially for someone without a cervix.
-
A header from that wouldn't have troubled Kepa. He played well and improved us.
-
Mediocre, behave. He's got pace, touch, movement, sees a pass, strong ish, gets stuck in, has a good engine, an eye for goal. Apart from that, he's got fuck all about him.
-
Nothing for anyone who watched. Lots if you didn't and just assume.
