Yep, agree with all of that. Japan, NW, Australia, Singapore, and others were countries I looked at with envy last year. Looking at it now, all I see are countries that hid themselves and their people, but are now in a bit of a quandary as they haven't vaccinated en masse. Don't get me wrong, I've got no idea what our current plan is with the likely number of cases (it almost feels like herd immunity v2 but with the masses vaccinated to reduce the impact) but I'd rather that than live in an unvaccinated society.
