  1. Huber grabbing at his gun was his best point. Rosenbaum threw a bag at him. He knowledged that Rosenbaum did not have a gun. There's nothing in that which suggests that he could reasonably have believed his life was in danger. As for the past of the victims, how did us now knowing that make Rittenhouse believe himself to be in danger at the time?! It's a terrible point.
  2. Playing Bournemouth tonight. One nil up.
  3. Indeed. The legal test is clear - reasonable belief that his life was in danger. Nothing about this case suggests to me that he could reasonably have believed that.
  4. No I didn't. What did you hear that makes you satisfied that he reasonably believed that his life was in danger, thus justifying the use of deadly force?
  5. There was no self defence involved, certainly not reasonable self defence. Shocking verdict, as is any defence of the guy.

John Fleck collapses so it must be vaccine related! Bit of a stretch that mate.

  9. I'd go mostly with that, but Perraud would get destroyed by Alexander Arnold/Salah. Sometimes a square peg in a round hole is the best peg, so KWP at lwb for me.
  10. Jeez, that's a proper pile of shite. Villa's quarter of a billion hasn't got them much either.

To be fair to him, to get assists, you need players to take chances and score. I'm not sure De Bruyne would get many assists in our team.

  13. I'm sure Man Utd fans will be delighted with a manager who led a team to a 9 nil battering from them.
  14. Yep. We didn't lose that game because of Walcott. We lost it because we didn't take our 1st half chances, and because McCarthy is shit. That said, why he came in I'm unsure - Tella or even Smallbone would have given us more.

    Nathan Tella

Agree with that. He's shown promise, but he's not the superstar in waiting some suggest. That said, I can't understand why he hasn't featured more this season, and I do wander whether he's on the naughty step.
  17. His credibility is shot to pieces.
  18. I'd have liked to have seen Olaigbe or even Ballard on the bench today rather than Long. Decent line up though, fancy us for a close win - goals at both ends.
  19. Worrying ain't going to stop a footballer getting sold. Regardless, he wont go to Liverpool whilst "Trent" is there. For what it's worth, I doubt he'll go back to Chelsea whilst James is there either. The only big English clubs that I could see needing him in the next couple of seasons are Man Utd (he's better than Wan Bisaka already imo) or Man City.
  20. Bit worrying about that lass though Del. Makes an allegation, disappears off the face of the earth, and a very moody looking email then circulates. Not sure if her speaking out was brave or daft tbh.
  21. Alex Hales: "The theme was musicians and Tupac is, was and always will be my favourite musician, so I went as him. "I obviously realise that this is incredibly disrespectful and I want to apologise for all the offence this has no doubt caused" I'm guessing that if he'd stayed white but still tried to depict Tupac, he'd have been mullered for depicting Tupac as a white man. Is the message that white people can no longer impersonate black people? Something very different to a generic "black face" I would say. Is depicting someone you respect, regardless of colour, not in fact a sign of respect? Is it OK for black people to impersonate white people? Is our "one human race" not in fact becoming a "black" or "white" world?
  22. He "Owned it" after he was found out. Rather different to grassing himself up, or better still, not being racist to begin with. His behaviour doesn't make his alleged experience any less unpleasant, but it's very relevant to his credibility.
