I'm looking forward to seeing what this lad has got. Big talent by all accounts.
-
Unless Fraser can sort his contract out he'd likely only come here on loan and having spent £25m on a keeper, I'd imagine (hope) we'd want to save our loan slot for a decent centre forward.
-
I remember watching him in the reserves before he made his breakthrough. He was very special then, and class like that (as a player) never goes.
-
To be fair, he's making the jump from league 1, and has had to partner Wood.
-
Wishful thinking I think. Shame, because he's a hell of a player on his day.
-
If playing with his head up and judgement hasn't been coached into him by now, it never will be. He's the football version of a darts player who can hit the trebles but has no idea where the doubles or bull are.
-
Wow. That's a proper signing. I couldn't give a monkeys what the fee is, as long as it's affordable and within our FFP cap, all is good.
-
That is the Margot Robbie of goals. Beautiful and just a wee bit filthy.
-
Not exactly interfering with play though. Edit: I thought you meant when the shot was struck, but obvs you meant when he received the ball. Apologies.
-
Yep. Nothing more than that I think.
-
Yep!!! Looking forward to seeing both of them. Akachukwu apparently has something about him, and nice to see him get a chance.
-
Nah. Archer playing up top, Dibling and Fernandes pushing up, one of the full backs at least at a time, and the other winger coming in. Assuming it's the 433 it looks like, this is much more like the shape we should be playing.
-
Decent line up imo, and not far from what I'd have gone with, although I'm surprised not to see one of BBD or AA starting and the other on the bench. Nice to see that Lallana and ABK are still alive.

Nowt ambiguous about their morals - it's outrageous behaviour. The profiteering from this for the various outside businesses will be outrageous.
-
Fair point, but I liked his music so it was easier to look past that.
-
Ditto. I loved stone roses, happy mondays, James, charlatans, ocs and various other manc bands. Before that new order and joy division. I dunno why I never got into Oasis, but they just never did it for me. I think it's as simple as I found Liam's vocals a bit whiney and I thought he was a cock. That said, over time I've liked a lot of their stuff, and some of the boys solo stuff.

You say that, but a standard PFA contract term was (I'm unsure if it is now) that each game missed after being injured in the field of play or being selected in a match day squad was deemed to be an appearance for bonuses etc.
-
What's shambolic about pulling out of a deal cos the kid failed his medical? Sounds sensible to me. You'd have had a point if we signed him though.
-
I think you need a bit of self reflection if you feel the need to ask that question, and despite what you now say was your intention, it didn't come across that way. Anyways, I have no interest in bogging the thread down on the possible issues of a poster so feel free to have the last word.
-
He can be annoying, yes, but you suggesting (or raising) that he's autistic was bang out of order and completely unnecessary.
-
Feel free to resume your spamming of threads if you must MLG, but no need to be a pedantic idiot.

All our play is in a horseshoe at the back and out wide so these tactics wouldn't click even if our opponents didn't play full backs. We can't be expected to score with a complete absence of a man in the middle up front, of forward balls, and an AM getting into the box. Things will only change when RM changes his tactics, or we change RM.
-
Selling KWP won't be the difference between staying up or going down imo - he's been replaced by Suga, and our issues are further up the pitch and our mental tactics. Regardless, we ain't going to let him leave for free if we can get big cash. Even if we don't reinvest the cash this window, it helps FFP.
-
We'd be nuts not to take money for him rather than giving him away free next year. There's also the FFP gain of getting cash for him. I'm surprised he's still here to be honest, but unless he signs a contract extension (even just a year), him going this week feels inevitable.
