  1. The idiot got what he deserved. Too many keyboard warriors post dangerous shite thinking it doesn't matter. They need to realise that it does.
  2. Yep, Blackmore's comments were daft and did us no favours. He showed that we were desperate to sell players, and reduces ABK's appeal, and probably his price, by basically saying that the club think he's a bit of a dick and don't want him.
  3. Apart from the language part, I'm not sure why people are confused by your post. I'd add his hot headedness. He was an idiot in the week, and we can't have players putting us under pressure when on an unnecessary yellow or off the pitch. RM made it clear that we need to sell to buy. Whether that's because we're skint and/or we don't have the financial fair play bandwidth I don't know, but if RM doesn't fancy Alcaraz (I could understand why he wouldn't) it makes to move him on and free up cash for someone he wants.
  4. Job
  5. They've pleaded guilty. Some of those have been sentenced in the mags court and some sent to crown for sentence.
  6. I've tried to take a neutral path but he doesn't help himself one bit. That said, the reactions to his posts are excessive and no side let it go and it's monotonous and does the forum no favours at all. Tuesday is a good point. There was a bit of argy bargy in there but a lid was kept on it and the protagonists kissed and made up the next day. That's how it should be.
  7. I always thought tdmicky was MLG, but then I thought Turkish was Farmersaint so wtf do I know!
  8. Absolutely. 💯
  9. Agree re the bold bits. I've got no idea if anyone has posted about the actual issues, it's all SoG fecking SoG. Every single thread seems to get derailed.
  10. At least there's a fish and chip shop down there. No such luxuries in Rwanda.
  11. Yep, he's not good enough, but until the manager has another option, I'm not sure what people expect.
  12. I'm not sure RM would play Mara if he had a better option.
  13. He'll be worse than that.
  14. Feck me. That's shocking. My dog would have saved that.
  15. Back 3, or a 4 with Manning being told to pretend that he's 'Trent' and bimble about in midfield? Shocking line up regardless.
  16. Yep Yep Proper crowd dispersal is needed. These rats need pushing off the streets.
  17. Blimey. What a lovely time this is.
  18. Starting already in Southampton. London Road has a huge police presence. Loads of scrotes assembling at the Brew house vowing to target anyone who ain't white. Businesses advised to shut up shop, and plenty heeding the warning. Hopefully a lid will be kept on it 🤞
  19. That's so simplistic it's frightening. Money isn't being taken from the old Doris's to pay the doctor's. That's one step away from saying it's being taken to house illegal immigrants. You know full well that the government have inherited a proper shit show and need to take control of the finances. Give me an government willing to make these decisions rather than the bunch of bullshitters we had who just say all is cool and borrow a load more cash.
  20. It's RM's beliefs that matter, and he is not going to abandon his beliefs and style. He only seems to know one way, and we'll try to keep the ball as much as we can regardless of who we play. Liverpool in the cup last year was a case in point. For what it's worth, I agree that players who can break with the ball would really help at this level, but those players also need to be useful on the ball. Wasteful players just won't fit, and if RM didn't fancy Alcaraz in the championship, he ain't going to fancy him in the PL.
  21. Nobody has suggested that we'll dominate possession in the PL. Of course we won't, but when we are on the ball, RM will have us playing keep ball. We ain't suddenly going to start playing like a 1980's Wimbledon team. When you'll have less of the ball, you need players who'll help you keep it. Alcaraz isn't that player.
  22. There'll be all sorts of ID issues in those cases. Most of them are hooded and masked up. That said, your point earlier that lots of these people will cop guilty pleas to lesser offences is probably correct. I'd imagine there'll be loads of guilty pleas to lesser public order offences to avoid a trial on affray or violent disorder, for example.
  23. You ain't Turkish, that much has been established. You're Farmer Saint. Anyways, welcome!
  24. My posts related to Farmer's point that cases will be kept in the mags court meaning no jury trial. Pretty much everything that the protestors are likely to be charged with gives them the right to elect crown court trial if they want. The mags have limited sentencing powers though, so will push up an either way offences up to crown court if they feel it should be tried there, or after a guilty plea for sentence if they feel it could warrant a stronger sentence than they can impose.
  25. Not sure why, but I was convinced ages ago that Turkish and Farmer Saint might be one and the same. I got that wrong!
