Bednarek is awful, thought he was the best of a bad bunch but he's just **** as well.

That team is so incredibly boring. Redmond or a mistake are our only real chances there.

McCarthy Valery - Bednarek - Yoshida - Bertrand Romeu - Hojbjerg Boufal - Redmond Ings - Adams Would be my choice. Assuming it'll be Vestergaard and Ward-Prowse in for Boufal and Adams though, another fun game ahead.

Think we look alright here. Would much prefer Boufal on for Ward-Prowse who I still feel offers nothing but can't complain too much at the minute.

Has anyone used Southampton Away Travel before? Using them for the first time this weekend and was just wondering generally what time they tend to arrive before a game? Wouldn’t mind going into town for a few beers seeing as you’re not able to drink on the coach either.

Looks like it won't be reaching season ticket holders then seeing as they've not even released a date for that criteria yet, so back to the question of which pub in Southampton will be the best with a big screen?

Thinking the same. Provided the tickets inevitably don't reach regular ST holders, I'm looking to come down and watch in the pub in Southampton with a couple others. Any recommendations for quite a large place with a big screen would be appreciated here also!

Hoping Ings gets binned from the starting XI sooner rather than later. Would much prefer to have Boufal (or Djenepo if he's any good) with Redmond and Che.

Very happy with the sound of him, Bundesliga fans I know don't think he'll be cheap. Really hope we can get this across the line and we've just fallen a DM short of a brilliant window. This makes it a good one.

Redmond/Hojbjerg new contract?

Would like to think that with Austin heading out permanently and the club surely being optimistic about loaning out Lemina/Carrillo (and potentially Elyounoussi) as well later on, we surely have the capability to bring in at least one today.

Likewise, a CB and a DM (Wanyama would be great...) inbound and at least 3/4 of Austin/Hoedt/Carrillo/Stephens/Forster/McCarthy/Lemina/Elyounoussi out. I imagine we'll see Lemina leave tomorrow and nobody come in, with loan deals for Carrillo/Elyounoussi coming later in the month.

Looking forward to Simon Peach' tweet on Thursday morning saying we're not expecting to be active on deadline day.
