The only big difference for me is Forster has some of those random games (Arsenal A etc...) where he goes absolutely mad and wins us points on his own. McCarthy is just a 3-6/10 every game, whereas Forster has (or at least had) the potential to have a MOTM display. They are both so shit though, it's crazy we've put ourselves in this position.

If we get 2, at best 3 years out of him and he goes for the £40m buy-back rumoured, we've had a great time of it. Realistically there's no hope of any non-homegrown player joining us and not moving on in that general timeframe anyway if they're a large success. Whilst the academy is absolutely dry, this is a welcome way for us to see some of the best young talent in the country week-in week-out. It's a tiny sample size but I'd be very surprised if this kid doesn't make it to the absolute highest level.

There’s people on there claiming to have been season ticket holders for 10+ years who are now asking for a refund because they won’t do a lateral flow test to help others around them. I’m not talking about the ones complaining about the communication, nor did I say I was. I don’t think we’re going to agree on this subject so let’s just leave it there.

The communication was awful and even though I agree that people shouldn't have to, it's not rocket science to figure it out. I'm not taking "pious" at the result of not understanding why people aren't willing to go out their way for 5 minutes to help out their fellow supporters. Yeah, after looking through the #NFFC hashtag on Twitter, the majority of them seem to rate him quite highly. Understandably they've been met with a lot of Saints fans asking about his leadership qualities, which they believe to be an area he excels within.

He's 6'4 so you'd hope so!
