Little disappointed with the buy back but will wait to see what kind of fee it is before complaining too much. Anything upwards of £30m would be fine.
-
Looks like he's going to cost £5m. The article states he can play both sides of defence as well, so that's a big bonus. Would imagine he's now first choice back-up for both LB and RB. Pinch of salt as it's Crook but happy days.
-
My bad, meant hopefully not a bullshit link. I agree he was great at the Euros and the exact signing I think we need to make. I'd assume we've given Livramento some promises to join us, so I'd imagine immediate back-up.
-
A million times better than signing Williams on loan, buzzing with that one if it's true.
-
Maybe just a lazy link as we've been mentioned before, but hopefully not.
-
Without wanting to go full MLG, he did post on here after the tweet from The Athletic, at which point people on Twitter were already suggesting it could be us. The same guy from The Athletic said that Watford were not in the mix a few hours ago.

Unfortunately it'll be because they're two of our higher earners and they're both too shite to be wanted by another club. Ideal situation would've been selling Frase to Celtic last Summer but I don't think he wanted to go there. I imagine we're stuck with this pairing until next season where Forster goes on a free and we try to bring in a new starter.
-
Would imagine it was a case of working with what we had due to limited funds, as opposed to actively deciding to bring someone like that in.
-
Fair enough! No point rebuying Lemina right after getting rid.
-
Ntcham seems a bit of a no brainer given our previous interest and the wages he was on at Celtic. I'm sure he'd have better options than being our 4th choice CM though.
-
Armstrong is so good, what a signing he was. Che Ings; Tella Armstrong is an exciting front four.
-
Oh my Shane Long is absolutely useless.
-
Djenepo's just been booked for diving in a friendly.
-
2-1, Redmond. Other than the weird own goal we've been top class here, especially going forwards. Stu and Tella in particular are brilliant.
-
Tella's goal, nice partnership starting between him and Che. Screen Recording 2021-07-31 at 15.15.51 (online-video-cutter.com).mp4

1-0 Swansea. Terrible own goal from Salisu.
-
It is an example of our absolute worst case scenario lineup. Ings, JWP and Vestergaard leaving with no new signings. Not that I think that'll happen mind, but yeah it's a pretty depressing side.
-
I struggle to believe there isn't some interest from JWP's end for it to get to this stage, let alone a follow-up bid being put in. I'd take £50m for him, provided we didn't also lose Ings in the same window.
-
I know a few German guys who don't think he has a future as a left-back, which is likely where we'd want him to play the majority of the time.
-
Doesn't seem like he did too much over in Germany but I'd be more than happy with that as a loan move with a view to permanent, similar to KWP. This article may make it seem a little less likely though. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2021/07/30/ryan-sessegnon-nuno-wolves-tottenham-hotspur/

These random Cardiff City commentators know more about us than a lot of the Sky/BT ones we get. Adams - Long Redmond - Tella Romeu - Diallo Djenepo - Bednarek - Stephens - KWP Forster Team at the 60th.
-
1-0. Walcott. Nice ball in from Obafemi after pressing a mistake. Solid finish as well to be fair.
-
Not really got any control of the midfield which isn't surprising without Armstrong and JWP involved. Salisu comfortably our best player so far, and has had a few moments of screaming at the rest of the team for a lack of options. Zero attacking threat from either winger and Ings/Obafemi pretty much uninvolved, as of 30 minutes.
-
I know it's depressing but I can't look past this either. I want to believe in the Blackmore comments that he "wouldn't even go to Spurs", but why wouldn't he? If we're sat here struggling to spend anything then I can't see him wanting to waste his final years.
