Fickle would imply that people had suddenly taken a liking to Pellegrino. It was obvious to anyone that we're still not getting anywhere, a draw against another big side didn't change that at all. Wish they'd get rid of him before these next two vital games but obviously that won't happen.

Just a hypothetical but say we get smashed today with our pretty much full strength team, does anyone think they'd sack him before Wednesday to try and spark a reaction out the players? Or is this game pretty much irrelevant to the cause and all hitches on what happens vs Brighton?

How are we in a position to be claiming that a winger averaging better than 1 in 2 isn't that good, bloody hell. The club have clearly pushed the idea of Promes into the media and with fan relationship already at a low, I'd be surprised if they'd do that knowing we're not going to be able to get him/someone on a similar level.

I feel like there's a difference between a signing on that level and a signing like Promes which would be our record fee by a mile though, can't see why he'd want to join an (already poor) team where he didn't even know who the manager was.

Would we be able to sign Promes without a manager? Surely there's absolutely no way that Pellegrino stays if we get battered tomorrow at home whilst in the relegation zone.
