Reed could easily have turned round to him and said "if you're not signing this extension you can go now". Can't say I'd blame him either.

Let's just give them Koeman, appoint Emery ourselves and get him to bring Krychowiak with him.

New 6 year deal, based on pretty much no merit other than the fact he's a local lad. Performs exceptionally well for England U21's (just made an absolutely fantastic assist in a tournament final) but has never given anything for us other than his set pieces. The added European fixtures next season should hopefully mean he gets more game time than last year (14 starts, 19 minimal sub apps) but is it time to accept he's never going to step-up and is always going to be remain a squad player here? Obviously at 21 it's a harsh claim to make but he's now made 107 Premier League appearances and it's still an enigma whether he's good enough or not. With Clasie not nailing down the second starting CM spot last season, this has to be his year if he's going to establish himself here.

They certainly think they're much better than they actually are. The amount of them saying Koeman will be disappointing because it's not Mourinho is just outstanding.

I think he mostly plays on the right for them now unless I'm mistaken? More of an inside-forward kind of player like Rodriguez used to be before his injury.

Wijnaldum is criminally overrated, really hope we go nowhere near him. Embolo is doing really good things at Basel but I'm not entirely sure if he's already a level above us, could see him going to Dortmund.

How much do I actually think he's worth in this market? £25m. However I don't think we'd sell for that, he's 24 years old and he's managed 10+ goals in both years he's been with us and has since been linked to United and praised by people like Pep Guardiola. I don't think he's been fantastic this season, hence the fact he's been dropped regularly, but I'd still be surprised to see us sell him for anything less than £30m or so. But that obviously begs the question, who's going to want him? Is Guardiola going to want him at City to replace Navas or are United going to be interested again? I don't think we will sell him because I don't think any team will willingly pay what we'd want, but does that leave us in a poor position next Summer when he's only got one year left of his deal and he has no intention to sign a new one? All hypothetical of course but I wouldn't be disappointed to see him go for £20-£30m this Summer.

Can't imagine Pelle will be here next season, would say Mane too but I'm not sure who'd fork out the stupid money for him.
