  1. Just moved to Leverkusen.
  2. One of William Carvalho or Danilo Pereira seem like the perfect replacement for Wanyama.
  3. I guess it shows how far we've come to feel a bit of disappointment that it could be Pellegrini, a manager who's won the Premier League and managed Real Madrid. May just be me though.
  4. Chris Bascombe ‏@_ChrisBascombe 4m4 minutes ago Koeman suggesting Southampton only wanted him to stay if he signed new deal. Indicates would've seen out last year of contract if possible. Good news that really, means we didn't actually lose him to Everton. We gave him away.
  5. 08/09 - 5th in Ligue 1 09/10 - 4th in Ligue 1 10/11 - 1st in Ligue 1 11/12 - 3rd in Ligue 1 12/13 - 6th in Ligue 1 (moved to Roma) 13/14 - 2nd in Serie A 14/15 - 2nd in Serie A 15/16 - Sacked by Roma in January Impressive in fairness other than one or two years, seems like a lot think that the Roma sacking was a bit unfair too.
  6. Signed and made Eden Hazard, signed Payet for Lille as well.
  7. A kbilly/Guan update would be pretty nice about now.
  8. I feel like it's one of 5, ranging from likelihood to unlikelyness: Frank de Boer > Andre Villas-Boas > Eddie Howe > David Moyes > Unai Emery
  9. Koeman can leave, his career was saved by Fraser Forster anyway.
  10. Danilo Pereira has been very impressive tonight.
  11. Reed could easily have turned round to him and said "if you're not signing this extension you can go now". Can't say I'd blame him either.
  12. Let's just give them Koeman, appoint Emery ourselves and get him to bring Krychowiak with him.
  13. Would much rather take a punt on Iorfa.
  14. That was 4 pages back to be fair, hadn't noticed. Apologies.
  15. New 6 year deal, based on pretty much no merit other than the fact he's a local lad. Performs exceptionally well for England U21's (just made an absolutely fantastic assist in a tournament final) but has never given anything for us other than his set pieces. The added European fixtures next season should hopefully mean he gets more game time than last year (14 starts, 19 minimal sub apps) but is it time to accept he's never going to step-up and is always going to be remain a squad player here? Obviously at 21 it's a harsh claim to make but he's now made 107 Premier League appearances and it's still an enigma whether he's good enough or not. With Clasie not nailing down the second starting CM spot last season, this has to be his year if he's going to establish himself here.
  16. Pelle out, Janssen in Mane out, Sisto in Tadic out, Ziyech in Wanyama out, DM in Juanmi out Leaves us stronger.
  17. Gylfi Sigurðsson Hakim Ziyech Daniel Bentley Gregory van der Wiel
  18. Celta Vigo have done 8 years of improvement now I believe.
  19. Not entirely sure, but him and kbilly have always been excellent with their information.
  20. Where was this? Can't see anything from Guan on his recent posts.
  21. They certainly think they're much better than they actually are. The amount of them saying Koeman will be disappointing because it's not Mourinho is just outstanding.
  22. A "well respected" poster on Everton's forum has just posted this. "I may as well put it out there. The manager most likely to succeed Martinez is Koeman. Not saying why I am saying that, but there it is." https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/robertos-hypothetical-replacement.83876/page-661
  23. Perfect timing.
  24. Bit of a boring, yet predictable team from us.
