Quality finish that is, did not think he had that in him whatsoever. Another truly mediocre performance if we're being honest, albeit improved in the 2nd half. Happily take these for now but really need to improve!

Another shit half where we look no better than midtable Championship opposition, in fact I’d say we looked worse. KWP the only positive. Need to get Sulemana involved more and really disappointed with Alcaraz yet again. The experiment with him up top is not working for me. Che the obvious change.

Whilst Manning is really poor, the even worse reality is that it’ll probably be Holgate in for him with KWP switching to the left for Preston.

Well if they keep attacking down Manning’s side then it won’t be pretty.

Mental that we were willing to spend about £25m on Delap last year and instead he’s done nothing on loan at Stoke, Preston and Hull. Actually not that mental considering we spent a majority of that on Onuachu in the end.

Bit of a stupid interview from Downes, who was actually our best player on the day by a mile. I think I said it on the matchday thread but in the 20 years I've been going to football, Rotherham are the worst team I have ever seen us play and yet we could all see us sleepwalking into a draw in that second half. Obviously a lot of the negativity in the crowd comes from experiences pre-dating this season, but I think it's a pretty poor look to take a swipe at the fans who have every right to be frustrated with both what we've seen at home so far, and Saturday in particular, which we may win "99 times out of 100", but we didn't.

Statistically the worst the PL has ever seen. Currently the worst in the Championship. Whether you want to believe statistics or not, it’s grim reading. He is not good enough. Great with his feet, terrible goalkeeper.

Nothing short of complacent. Should’ve been over by half time. Not seen it a second time but should Bazunu be getting beat like that? I don’t know. Shocking result. Hands down the worst team I’ve seen come to St Mary’s in the 20 years I’ve been going games.

About 500 seats open right behind the goal in the Northam due to away fans not selling, always makes for a far worse atmosphere.

Happy with that if it is true. I've been a little underwhelmed with his start this season as I expected huge things, but when you listen to RM's comments about losing Caballero/Lyanco it definitely makes sense. We're far better when he plays and he does stuff that nobody else in this team can do, I'm looking forward to him hopefully staying involved moving forward and assume he's probably doubled his wages from £20,000 to £40,000 or something along those lines. Great week for him and hopefully his first goal of the season tomorrow!

Passing was exceptional today. No real difficult saves to make but did better in parrying the ball into safer areas which has been a worry this season. I really hope two decent performances in a row & a clean sheet can push him on now. THB and Downes my joint MOTM probably. KWP very good as well. Still mystified why he's giving Fraser minutes over Edozie, but oh well.

Ugly but a good win, definitely a lot of concerns from today though. Strange offensive subs and absolutely inexcusable that we didn’t kill that game off in the second half. Felt like the ref was really on our side as well. Regardless, two great wins in a row and a hopefully favourable home game next where we can see a better performance with the result. Great to get a clean sheet too. Downes MOTM.
