Oh trust me, I would as well!

Che fit according to Selles' presser. Bednarek will be a late call due to the concussion. Livramento and Salisu not ready. Team pretty much picks itself in my eyes, but I'm sure there'll be a surprise inclusion or two. Bazunu KWP - DCC - ABK - Perraud Lavia - JWP Walcott - Alcaraz - Sulemana Che

I agree, definitely looking for a Leicester win tonight. Means we can cheer them on this weekend at home to Everton as well. Also agree we're probably wasting our team thinking about it!
-
Never seen a performance quite like his one in CM against Lincoln in the cup. Completely agree that he just isn't good enough to warrant keeping around.
-
With you on this. Che being back would be so important, but unless I've missed something the details regarding his injury/timeframe seem pretty ambiguous? For all his faults, he is by far and away the best option for how we want to play.

Bournemouth downing tools today ahead of their cup final on Thurs.

Fulham 1-0 up against Leeds. Hopefully Palace, Wolves and Liverpool can do something later. Hate that I'm looking again.

Always thought Shearer came across with a serious soft spot for us.

I think you are absolutely spot on. This leads to goals like today, Liverpool A, West Ham A, Leeds H amongst others which didn't immediately pop to mind.

Not a good player by any means, but less detrimental purely due to how often he's on the pitch. Could name 5-10 other awful signings, but at the position he's in, Bazunu is worse than any.

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool

Thankfully City's £40m doesn't come in until next year, which is why I assume we'll cash in this Summer. I'm expecting £50m, but like you say, he could easily be valued at more. Our relegation unfortunately may take a little away. He will be an absolutely fantastic signing for whichever team he goes to. -
Completely agree with this perspective. Leaving their two wingers one-on-one with our full-backs was a disaster waiting to happen. The Lyanco sub I actually thought was excellent. Onuachu made no sense and whilst I'm sure he's more informed than I am on this one (could've easily been asking to come off), I would rather Lavia at 30% than Diallo at 100.

There's nothing wrong with admitting you're too dim to understand something.

£50m for sure. It is a true shame he didn't come along when we were any better. I think he'll go Chelsea, and I hated the idea of it until it now it seems like Pochettino will come in. A truly excellent footballer. -
It isn't rocket science. He is the worst keeper to ever play in the Premier League and you waste your evenings trying to defend him.
-
You're beyond saving, I'm afraid.

We were crying out for a player on the break to get the ball and not just immediately give it away. Armstrong, Elyounoussi and Walcott most of the second half did it all game. It is piss poor from Selles not to realise these things which are so blatantly obvious. Why the fuck did Onuachu come on if our entire game plan was a 8-1-1? He is clueless, and for all the good we did in the first half, it is simply undone. "would've taken it before the game", absolute stupidity.
-
But what does it matter? You cannot blow a 3-1 lead in the 88th minute. It is not good enough, there is no spin on this. Just as there's no spin on Bazunu which you're constantly dying to create.
-
Ruins us. The worst signing since we came back up.
-
Not good enough. Nothing about this fucking team mentally.
-
Not sure how to feel about this lot. Felt more confident today than I did vs Palace. AA awful, get Sulemana on and up against Zinchenko. No hope we hold on to this but love a bit of fight and desire lacking previous games. Alcaraz top class.
-
I'm honestly at the point where there's not news of anyone leaving that'd legitimately upset me like some have in the past, but seeing him break the record in a West Ham or Villa shirt would be a sad sight.
-
It'll definitely be the "freeze but you get 4 extra games!" narrative. I'm going to renew but wouldn't for a second begrudge anyone who doesn't.
-
Because I watched them play in the Championship in 21/22. The absolute shitshow that they've become this year is not a full reflection on Cooper, in my opinion. There are little to no positives for the other two, unless Beale is holding Gerrard's hand.
-
JWP and Lavia are the two that deserve a move. Che/ABK/Salisu/KWP can all play at this level and I think will get one. Then there's a few more who I'm hopeful we can get rid of in the likes of Orsic/Armstrongs/Bednarek/Lyanco/Aribo but you never know with 1. how bad they are and 2. the unjustified wages they're currently on and if anyone is likely to take that up. Onuachu/Mara Sulemana - Alcaraz - Tella/Edozie Smallbone - Diallo Perraud - ? - Stephens - Livramento Bazunu I think one or two players you expect to leave always end up sticking around in the Championship, so that could be a few of the new guys signed in January (unless they had clauses in their contract in the likelihood of this situation), hopefully Alcaraz in particular who I think could be great. Don't particular care if Onuachu does/doesn't, but I'd echo the idea of Gyokeres if we lose both him and Che. It doesn't look like the worst outline of a team which would obviously need a few experienced additions, particularly in the central midfield & centre back departments which look very weak. Maybe we don't manage to get rid of all four of Bednarek, DCC, Salisu and ABK so one of them could slot in. I'd like to see us be pretty firm on cough-up good money or tell Burnley to fuck off with Tella. It'll be an interesting Summer for sure though. Imagine we pull in a pretty large number from outgoings.
