I think we all recognise the job that NC did and we are grateful. However, we still have Liebherr support and for the time being at least, a good manager. The ship has been steadied. It is now time to look forwards not backwards and am confident that we 'can re-invent ourselves'. We may have a different way of doing things but we may still be successful. For what it is worth I think we can expect a bit of realism. I often thought it was unrealistic to expect us to be a CL team, but realistic to be a solid mid table premier team. as long as we keep our Premier status we can expect some good years ahead. Keep the faith.

I think the ship is being steadied. Yes, there will be changes but I think they will be organised and done properly. NC gave us five great years, this chapter is now closing but I think the next chapter will be just as exciting.

You are right. Hoddle was set up to take over but at the last moment was declined when the board got cold feet. This was to some extent due to the vocal minority. The club made a panic appointment in the inexperienced Sturrock and we know that the long fall began.

I am glad that people have started talking about the forthcoming football match. Whatever happens we have to stay focused on gathering the points, securing safety first then pushing up the league. i hope the players just let all the CEO owner stuff take its course. Only time will determine the direction of the club. In the meantime it is the football that counts !

You would think so. For once I was looking forwards to a nice relaxing second half of the season. Never happens with Saints does it ?

Of course SFC will go on. However, people are understandably concerned at this very uncertain time. Bit of deja vu re Hoddle leaving in 2001.

I did say we should never take anything for granted. Anyway, we really do need to get over the 40 point line. Not panicking yet and not saying its all go pear shaped but hope the players focus on the football on Saturday.

This is not the time to panic. First of all lets hope the players and manager remain focused. We are in a good position but must secure our premier league future. Then we can consider the future. If we are safe early it will be a great time to get an new CEO in and start building for the future. I am sure we will be OK.

If we can stay in the top league for 27 continuous years then that will be an achievement. I do not see us finishing higher than 6th.

It is hard not to feel smug seeing the likes of Wham in a 'dogfight'. I only hope that it is not too demoralising for the fishy lot down the road. There again...

The win against WBA was a huge lift. Never take our league status for granted. Never be complacent ! Being 9th is absolutely fantastic ! If we finish 9th I will consider it one of our best ever seasons and champagne time. If we push on we could catch Newcastle and even finish 8th. That would be out of the world. Even staying up would make me happy. I love the league but for me, I cannot get enthused about the FA CUP.

Hmmm we could get another Ramirez, although he might, just might come good.
