So why do I need to provide proof of my opinion when all you have to offer is that you were once a child and have two of your own? My point still stands, just because this one individual did what he did, does it then qualify you or anyone else to suggest a wide spread decline in the youth of today and to even go further than that and start to suggest "solutions" such as national service and more draconian treatment in schools? Should our assumptions be based on what we see and hear in the media, or should we take a more objective view based on our own experiences. Mine tells me that yes, there is a proportion of the youth population that is lacking a sense of morality for sure, but at the same time the over whelming majority do understand the bounderies of right and wrong and will grow up to be decent individuals. As for my personal qualifications, I have a degree in criminology (although I'm not claiming to be an expert on anything, particularly as it was going back a little while) and did study at length on how the media shapes our perceptions of crime in society, in particular youth crime. The reality is a long way from what we see and hear in the media, not just on youth crime but all forms of criminality.

So you're an expert on this are you? And there was never any rebellious or disenfranchised youth prior to the 60's? People need to stop taking individual issue's and making knee jerk, reactionary and sensationalist assumptions about what they think they know about the youth of today and the wider society. Acting like a dickhead is part of human nature and people of all ages will on occasion do things which repulse the morale sensibilities of the majortiy. They always have and always will.

Shame. And to think I was going to offer to pay your ticket tax for you to a game of your choice. -

Do I have to wait to see if we fail to beat Peterborough before I can call you a p/ick? -
They would probably target Harding after his shocker at their place last year

Don't think anyone is saying that he's the only one who does it. Just the very good ones Benjii is right, a lot of managers have a one style fits all approach whilst others simply don't give a ****.
-
He's a cut above and has embarrassed many managers who others would consider as better qualified. He has drive and enthusiasm and his meticulous attention to detail must make life very simple for the players. I was very excited when he came here after reading up on him and we're lucky to have him, he's highly regarded within the game. And to think that Brighton fans still say he's just a physio. Anyone who actually thinks that must be as thick as pigs cock.

Own Up, Who Else Was Concerned About October?

Optimistic? He had a mini melt down after the palace game. He's still only ever one game away from his doomsday predictions -

A nice comment about Lambert right at the end in this piece: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/oct/29/southampton-middlesbrough-championship

I want cheap tickets and I also want all other services to be done for free in good will. I also want top quality signings every transfer window and I want big name managers. I want us to have the best stadium and facilities and to always be competing at the highest level. But above all I want all this with minimal cost to me. Oh and I also want it all to be done in a self sustaining way. I am the modern supporter.

Whilst fans keep paying, clubs will keep charging. Still paying and then complaining about it afterwards is not going to make a blind bit of difference.

haha, sad cock
-
Yea......but what about me having to pay for parking?
-
he deserves a song due to his introduction of ticket taxes and car parking fee's alone. This keeps away porpers like Dune

We did play a strong side but that is a requirement of the competition. Clubs have to field at least 6 or so players who played in the last league game. There is no such requirement for the league cup
-
for those complaining about the team selection last night, I wonder what the response would be if we had played the first team and then lost on Saturday with the players looking tired and jaded? damned if you do, damned if you don't.

The sad thing is that he's probably much much older than that. Football really does attract some sad c\/nts.

Loads of teams only have one in form striker, if that. We can and will score from all over the place as has already been demonstrated this season. Far better than only relying on your strikers

I think the more employers move towards a more flexible model where possible, the better. I'm a project manager for a large financial institution with a contracted 35 hour week. However, I have an International remit meaning that my working day can start at 7am if a conference call with a south pacific market is required and finish at 11pm if a call with the America's is also needed. I don't mind this at all as I manage my own time and understand that some projects may require a 50 hour weeks but at other times I can just do the 35 hours (or sometimes less). Where possible, people should be judged on results and getting work done however they choose to do it. It's also a matter of give and take.
