He is certainly of a rare breed. Not overly quick but exceptional skill and close control, his movement is amazing and two footed as well. It will be a long time before we see a player like him again in a saints shirt again (if he goes) I know Pochettino is a little bias but he compared him to Iniesta and Silva and he isn't far off.

Some of their kit looks pretty class. I use GoPro for surf footage and would be interested in seeing Veho's version at some point. -

"A Global reach across the Globe" Oh Gareth -
It's alright mate, we'll get a good manager and can use all the money from the transfer fees to sign players and have a few nice seasons in mid-table and a good cup run.

A lot of people are just happy Cortese has gone and all the fan pandering stuff will buy the board more time than it should before questions are asked. All of the key people who can keep us pushing on seem unsure what the immediate and future plans are, bizarre really.

Another thing which hasn't been sorted out when we are supposed to be planning for bext season.

Guly pretty much confirms he is leaving Saints this summer

Assume you didn't celebrate any of his goals? Not even the late winner against Bristol Rovers? I'll leave you to it Bazza, I should know better by now. -

Guly often played in the same side as Sharp. His goals and assists helped to get us where we are and he has been used by 3 different managers so obviously not as useless as you make out. -

Also a popular lad with the players and now has an affinity with the club after 4 years here. It's moronic to claim he hasn't done much, we wouldn't have been sat in the Prem now without his goals. -
Someone wants to wait and both sides are placing the spotlight on the other. Reed is the only one who is aligned with MP, god knows what anyone else is up to. Hope Ralf has had fun looking around Winchester and looking at Duncans books in the meantime. Real important stuff.

I got off lightly in comparison, will try and shake off the cyber warrior/queen tag but don't think it will be easy

Is Halal curry? That wouldn't make a nice sandwich would it?

Just trying to nip in before WC before he has a stormer probably.

Well spending 12-15M on players isn't a huge deal in todays premier league and signings such as Gaston and Osvaldo doesn't mean that every signing turns out that way. Signing a striker of the (supposed) calibre of Osvaldo was the right thing to do, just not him specifically. How many more points would we have if we had those two contributing with goals regularly? Bottom line is, we haven't spent anywhere near what a Champions League side would and neither have Everton who gave it a good go this year. The desire isn't to spend 100's of M but be strong enough to keep our best players (especially academy ones) for as long as feasibly possible and ensure we incrementally improve at each opportunity. You can't plan to just be a mid table prem team.

I said I don't recall anyone saying they expected 4th this season or next season. That's a fact because I don't.

Probably talking about some moon/stars quote from Wes I would imagine, CB?
-
The trouble with this view is that the margins are so fine that it's not sustainable in itself. No club can model themselves on just being a mid table cup side (if such a thing even exists) without relegation being a real threat. That's a quicker way to bankruptcy than any Champions League push.
-
No one really knows, including the players.
-
Prospect of losing academy players who we should be in a good position to keep for a few seasons and actually achieve something tangible (cup or Europe) and losing Pochettino who has us playing a brand of football which makes us a match for anyone in league home and away.
-
Didn't see any of that. Maybe I wasn't paying attention or maybe it was a handful of posters as per usual.
-
Who exactly has lapped it up? Don't recall anyone saying we will be 4th this year or even next.

The one in pink boo's when Guly comes and on and screams "GET IT FORWARD" each time we make a backwards or sideways pass.

Ill thought out and non-sensical approach. If a clubs wants to develop youngsters and play them, they can. Whether the players are in a reserve league, U21 league or B league won't make a difference.
