What makes you say he is a 'very good premier league midfielder' ? What are you basing it on? he isnt first choice here, nor is he likely to be any time soon (departures etc dependant) he just isnt very effective.....i would send him out on Loan to a championship club and see how he gets on, and if they can find a position for him

literally couldn't agree more. He isn't quick so cant play wide, doesn't seem to have a great passing range, not a harrier/tackler either. What is his best position? Thought he was awful AGAIN when he came on today.....
